Information Affiliation: Hachiko High School (Grade 10) Birthday: May 13th 2018 Age 18

Relatives Mittens Wichien (Shared ancestry) Whiskers Wichien (Shared ancestry) Unnamed Parents (Possibly deceased) Appearance Species: Dog (Bloodhound) Gender: Female height: 5'9" or 179.832 cm Eyes:Dull Red (#f1588a)

Appearance Ginger appears as a brown dog with dark brown hair that's long and straight in texture, and often covers one eye. Her ears and tail are long and droopy and her eyes are a dull red. In PA1 she wears a white collared blouse, a pink neck bow with a yellow star, a long purple skirt and is missing half her head. As a ghost she appears very purple-tinted, half her face is covered by hair and she wears a white triangle headband. In PA2 she also appears as a ghost. In PA3 she appears as a ghost during Coco's recount of visiting the Elite Magic Club. After being healed by Bapawmet she returns to her usual coloration but her hair still covers half her face. At school she wears a braid over half her face, a blue short sleeved t-shirt with white stripes over a white long-sleeved t-shirt and purple shorts. Ginger has B cup breast.

Personality At the start of the series, Ginger is quiet, shy and unconfident. She has a severe sensitivity to abandonment and is very quick to fall into serious relationships. Patches, her first romantic partner, takes advantage of this in order to make use of her magical abilities. She's willing to endure emotional abuse and commit several atrocities in order to appease him. When offered healthy companionship from Olive and their friends, Ginger finally turns against Patches. She then commits to being a good friend by helping Coco and the others with Hachiko High's communal school day. There, Patches' has a difficult time manipulating her again. By that point she's still sentimental, patient and forgiving but is capable of standing up for herself, even if violence is involved.

Biography Ginger was raised by an emotionally absent guardian in a lower class household. Throughout school she experienced bullying and ostracization for her magical abilities. She had no friends growing up. She was completely unaware of her bloodline's relation to the Wichien family.

Relationships Patches Ito: Ginger is Patches' romantic partner and later on, just a friend. Ginger was charmed by Patches into using her magic to escape Infurno and terrorize Angel and his friends. She's unaware that Patches is using her, but is later convinced by Sparky and Olive to turn against him. She betrays him but still has some compassion for him afterwards. {{Dalmatian, male, He/Him}}

Sparky Fritz: Ginger is Sparky's possessor and later on friend. In Purrgatory Furever Ginger uses her powers to widdle down Sparky's psyche enough to take over his body. She uses his body to terrorize his friends and break Angel's arm and Brownie's leg. After being forced out of his body, he hunts her down for either revenge or closure. In spite of their rocky start, the two become close friends. {{Husky, male, He/Him}}

In-Game Appearances Purrfect Apawcalypse/Purrfect Apawcalypse: Love at Furst Bite Ginger has no speaking roles in the Purrfect Apawcalypse demo, but was given a secret scene in the remake, Love at Furst Bite. She appears in both games as an unnamed bifurcated corpse found in the bathroom stall by Olive. She was likely murdered by a cat demon before Brownie found a hiding space in the next stall over. In the secret scene of the game, she finds herself in Infurno along with all the other dogs that were killed that day. She uses her magical abilities to open a portal when Patches finds her. He convinces her to join him in getting revenge on the cats and dogs that ultimately resulted in their deaths. This leads to the events of the next game.

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Purrgatory Furever Ginger uses her abilities to reanimate the thousand dead dogs that died at Hachiko High School during the previous game, as well as haunt Sparky's sleep in the days leading up to Olive's birthday. With the undead army in tow, she and Patches terrorize his ex, Angel, and his friends. Ginger, with the help of Patches, eventually possesses Sparky's body and uses it to injure his friends. After being forced out of his body by Coco, Ginger escapes. Off screen, Patches disparages her for having failed to kill the party, and she escapes into the woods to cry in the nearby cellar. There, she is either banished to Infurno by a vengeful Sparky, or befriended by him and Olive. If befriended, she will turn on Patches and banish him to Infurno herself, only for him to disrupt her magic by grabbing Olive and be sent to Purrgatory instead. She eventually rescue Olive and approves of Patches' rescue under certain circumstances.

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno Ginger helps Coco host the "Hachiko High x Kemono Woods Communal School Day" (a day where cats and dogs attend school together in order to prove that they can get along). She is tasked with keeping the zombie dogs' bodies intact with her magic stitches, a task she struggles with greatly. When in the cafeteria her magic stitches loosen briefly after being shocked by the contents of the Claret Family Grimoire. It is in this book that Ginger learns of her relation to the Claret-Wichien Family, the likely origin of her magical capabilities. After lunch, rather than participate in gym class with Sparky as originally intended, she leaves for the gym to concentrate alone. It is here that Patches attempts to take advantage of her blood relations, as the fur of a Claret family member is necessary for his body-swapping spell.

Trivia Likes: Companionship, Patches (before befriending Olive and their friends), cooking (especially for others), peaceful music. Dislikes: Rejection, toilets, her own magical abilities, emotional manipulation. Ginger's first name was somewhat inspired by the movie Ginger Snaps, wherein a teen girl becomes a rabid werewolf. Her last name is based on a red wine from Bordeaux, which is a deep cool-red color, a nod to her eye color.
