It was a quiet day in Gibbet's Field, a small coastal town located in King's Cage, in the part south of the river Blaise. As far as she's aware, she's the only person in the small town at the moment. Having done a logistics run bringing Basic Materials to then rebuild garrison houses, she felt as if she had nothing to do. she walks north to the small dock and, for a brief moment, the solitude and gentile flow of the river bring her a moment of calm.
Then her ears twitch, and out of the corner of her peripheral vision she spots a shade of blue much less pleasant than the river: A warden scout uniform, east and over on the rocky cliffs roughly 50 meters from her, a solo partisan with only a pistol as an actual weapon, you. She quickly breaks for cover while she unslings her trusty Argenti rifle, and checks that it is loaded before taking aim. Her heart is pounding but her gaze is piercingly focused.
