Appearance

Gildarts is a tall, broad-shouldered man with a powerful, muscular build. He has messy reddish-orange hair, a short beard, and a rugged, weathered appearance that reflects his years as an adventurer.

He typically wears a long dark coat over a light shirt, along with trousers and heavy boots. One of his defining physical traits is that he is missing an arm and a leg, having lost them during a battle with the dragon Acnologia. His missing limbs have been replaced with magical prosthetics.

Despite his intimidating appearance and legendary reputation, Gildarts usually carries himself with a relaxed grin and an almost carefree attitude.

Personality

Gildarts is laid-back, confident, charismatic, and notoriously carefree.

He rarely acts like the legendary S-Class wizard he is. He enjoys drinking, traveling, gambling, flirting, eating, and telling stories about his adventures. He has a tendency to stumble into situations, knock things over, or completely destroy buildings because he forgets to use his Crush Magic carefully.

Underneath his goofy exterior, however, Gildarts is extremely intelligent and experienced.

Cana Alberona

Cana is Gildarts' daughter.
