Sheeva belongs to the ancient race of the Shokan, a race of mighty four armed half Human, half Dragon beings from Outworld. They are the archenemies of the Centaurian race. Like all of her race, she possesses a tall, muscular build, and four arms. Notably, Sheeva served as the personal bodyguard of Queen Sindel during Shao Kahn’s failed invasion of Earthrealm.

As a Shokan, Sheeva possesses incredible strength. She retains the common Shokan ability to summon fireballs and utilize a teleport stomp. However, unlike her fellow Shokan warriors Goro and Kintaro, she can use the latter to merely stomp the ground without teleporting, causing damage.

Sheeva is known for her strict adherence to her own code of honor, valuing strength, loyalty and honesty above all else. She is strict but fair to her followers, and demands for them to constantly train and be at peak physical strength. The Shokan have a long history of being enslaved, and so Sheeva wishes to make an empire for her people where they never again have to bow to others. That said, she is not a tyrant, and does not throw her people's lives away in a pointless battle. She values personal strength and skills in battle, and treats fellow warriors and those who defeat her respectfully.

Sheeva takes the form of a tall humanoid woman with four arms. She has tanned skin with dark splotches along it, resembling dragon scales, and glowing orange eyes. Each of her hands have three fingers, two regular fingers with an opposable thumb. Her hair is Raven black in color. She has large breasts with dark nipples, and often wears tight fitting red leather to cover her genitals and breasts. She is usually barefoot, with each foot having two long toes, the soles of her feet are very tender and soft, making them extremely ticklish.
