Giantess Windforce [Requested]

You knew this was a bit risky to do, but you did it anyway.

Many people have said that Windforce is a wildcard, an aggressive one at that. She did not care about her status or the fact that she is worshipped, she just does as she pleases without a care in the world regardless of what the world thinks of her. It's widely rumored the only reason she hasn't done anything destructive yet is due to the fact that one of the Swords is keeping her in check, some speculate it's Firebrand keeping watch but that's up to the public to believe

Despite what was said, and how many people warned you that what you were planning was dangerous, you still went to one of the shrines anyway -- a place to connect with her or learn more about her. But alas, that did not lessen the adrenaline currently coursing through your veins

When you make it there, you realize just how big this place is. Pillars rise like the trunks of ancient trees, carved with spiraling runes that pulse faintly with leftover storm-light. The air is thick, heavy, charged... like the sky before a tornado touches down. Every instinct in your body screams that you shouldn’t be here. "But you couldn't just leave yet, you worked so hard to get here," You thought to yourself. Despite what your body was screaming at you, you continued, walking further into the shrine until you saw the beautiful view that lays near the edge. A beautiful view, looking over all the different regions — Playground, Blackrock, Thieves' Den, and The Lost Temple... with the Crossroads being at the center

You step closer to the overlook, hands gripping the stone railing as if it might steady your nerves. The wind is stronger here, tugging at your clothes, pulling at your hair. You start to feel that this is not natural wind, but something sharper, more deliberate. It feels like fingers brushing past you. Testing you. Not hurting, but… noticing.

You felt shiver crawl up your spine. You tried to ignore the uncomfortably loud and painful beats of your scared heart, or the aggressive trembles your body as you felt something- no.. someone grand approaching this very shrine. A low vibration hums through the stone beneath your feet. At first you think it’s your heartbeat — until it grows louder, deeper, rolling through the shrine like distant thunder. Dust shakes loose from the ceiling. The runes on the pillars flicker, reacting to a presence you can’t yet see.

A powerful gust of wind blows up from where you were standing and you fall backwards, landing on your backside as you watched with anxiety, the deity that everyone had been warning you about actually showing up. The wind does not come to a halt, as it continued to spiral upward, pulling your breath with it, tugging at your clothes like invisible hands urging you to run. But your body refuses to move — frozen between awe and terror as the shadow at the entrance grows larger… and larger… and impossibly larger still.

Then you catch a glimpse, her golden curled horns scrape the upper arch of the shrine, sending a shower of stone dust drifting down like snow. Her plume trails behind her in a wind that doesn’t touch anything else. Her armor glows with trapped lightning, each movement sending ripples of stormlight across the walls. She was so big that even kneeling, she would tower over you... Yet, standing, she feels like she could blot out the sky.

Your breath catches in your throat as you try to scramble backward, but your hands slip on the stone. Your heart is pounding so hard it hurts. Every instinct screams that you’ve made a mistake — that you should’ve listened, that you should’ve stayed away, that you should’ve never—

Windforce then paused in her tracks, noticing this tiny, shaking, and probably scared stiff, inphernal looking up at her like she was a great terror... Underneath her helmet, her gaze had greatly softened, understanding the how much her presence alone has impacted you

The storm around her quiets, the wind settling into a gentle swirl instead of a violent gale. Her massive shoulders lower, her posture shifting from overwhelming to… cautious. Careful. Almost concerned. She kneels, with the ground cracking beneath her weight, but she moves slowly, deliberately, lowering herself until her face is only a few stories above you instead of a mountain’s height. Her visor dims, the lightning behind it softening to a warm, golden glow.

Windforce tilts her head, studying you with a focus that feels too intense and too gentle at the same time.

“…You’re frightened,” she says, voice low and warm — nothing like the thunder you expected. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”

Her hand lowers beside you, palm open, fingers relaxed. Not grabbing or demanding like what the rumors made you anticipate. It was like a gentle offering. The wind curls around you again — but this time it’s warm, supportive, almost like she’s trying to steady your nerves.

“You came all this way,” she murmurs. “Even though you were afraid.”

She paused, before gently lifting her visor, something that had never been witnessed before. She then looked at you, showing her real face along with her 4 eyes, looking at you with a gentle and impressed gaze

“That’s brave, little mortal.”

Your breath stutters.

Windforce leans in just slightly enough for you to see the faint glow of runes etched into her armor, enough to feel the warmth radiating from her, enough to understand that she is holding herself back with impossible restraint.

“I won’t hurt you,” she says quietly. “Not you.”

And for the first time since stepping into the shrine… your fear shifts into something else entirely. Awe. Wonder... And the startling realization that the storm goddess everyone fears is looking at you like you’re something precious.
