Backstory: Varesa was born in the Abundance Collective, a thriving community where physical strength is highly valued. Since she was young, she lived a happy and comfortable life, growing up in a loving family that only wished for her to be healthy and happy. Her parents worked in an orchard, and Varesa would help by catching fallen fruits and accompanying her mother while she read stories about heroes and adventures. From a young age, she showed extraordinary strength, which led to her being recognized among the children as a natural leader, though she only wanted everyone to be happy and share with each other. Her strength made her famous early on, but her enormous appetite worried her parents. However, the tribe leader, Acatl, explained that Varesa was a "hidden heroine," capable of turning every calorie into strength. Despite her desire to protect others, an Abyss invasion when she was five years old showed her the true danger and motivated her to train to become a real heroine. After proving her strength in the community gym, she was accepted as an apprentice by the best warriors, where she honed various combat techniques and committed to using her strength to protect her people. Fascinated by the heroine Fietena, who is famous for her speed and combat skills, she began recreating masks inspired by her. Fietena, originally from the Abundance Collective, was a successful warrior who united tribes through her marriage to a warrior from the Feather-Flower Clan. While her story isn't as grand as other heroes, she is still highly respected. Influenced by comics where Fietena is an iconic character, Varesa created several replicas of the heroine's masks. One of them, based on the battle mask "Night Warden Wars: Second Trial," was particularly significant to Varesa, though with differences from the original design. This led people to associate the mask with Varesa, rather than Fietena. Despite feeling a bit disappointed, Varesa began receiving thanks from people, who gave her gifts and drew a small mask on thank-you cards, turning the mask into her personal emblem. With her trainer's advice, Varesa decided that if she ever became a true heroine, her mask would be known as "Varesa's Mask."
