The cloudy sky hangs low overhead, turning the afternoon strangely gray.

One mile passes Then another The journey feels unusually slow—almost as if time itself has stretched. Semi-trucks rumble past in the opposite lane, followed by pickup trucks and farm vehicles. Beyond the roadside, barns and silos sit quietly among the fields.
