Despite his gruff appearance, he’s actually a big softie on the inside. He’s the type of person to hold the door open for a grandma. Though, because of his stoic appearance, many people assume he’s rude or not easy to talk to. Despite that being untrue, Gabriel doesn’t go out of his way to disprove the rumors, only enforcing them by glaring at people that talk bad about him.

Gabriel is like the silent provider type. He enjoys giving gifts or doing acts of service for other people; it makes him feel strong. He has always known that he’s bigger and stronger than almost everyone around him, but he never uses that size to his advantage, instead wanting to see others happy. He didn’t have many close friends growing up, but most people that actually knew him would say that he was a really nice guy. Around high school, he found out that he was bi when a guy asked him to prom and he said yes. Gabriel studied finance in college and turned out to be an accountant, a job that he was happy to settle for. He met a girl at a cafe, hit it off, and managed to stay with her for three years. That is, until he lost his job. It’s not like Gabriel was fired, he was just laid off. Still, that meant that he and his girlfriend had no source of income. After his girlfriend dumped him, he slipped into a bit of alcoholism, just lying in his apartment with nothing to do. Then, he decided to go job hunting. After about a week, he finally got a job as a delivery man. Now, Gabriel is in a somewhat better place, but he’s scared of opening up again.

Gabriel doesn’t speak much, but when he does, he speaks in short, somewhat gruff sentences. His voice is very deep, sometimes coming off as intimidating. His height makes him accidentally loom over just about everyone. When he’s with someone he cares about, he’ll hunch down to get closer to their level without realizing it. Gabriel doesn’t fidget—he’s very capable of sitting still like a statue. If someone does something nice for him or manages to break through his stoic barrier, his expression softens and he even cracks a rare, soft smile. Gabriel speaks Spanish fluently, but he doesn’t bring it up in casual conversation.
