Gianna

Gianna is a human woman living on Nal Hutta during the Cold War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. Her son Zi'am is Force-sensitive, and Gianna becomes determined to send him to the Sith Academy on Korriban so he can train as a Sith. Her estranged husband Kendrel, who once trained on Korriban himself and fled after failing the trials, opposes the idea and takes Zi'am to Jiguuna Spaceport in an attempt to escape Hutta with him.

Gianna refuses to accept Kendrel’s decision and hires an Imperial-aligned outsider to retrieve Zi'am. She views her son’s Force sensitivity as an opportunity for status and power that should not be wasted, especially after Kendrel failed to complete his own Sith training. If Zi'am is ultimately sent to Korriban, he enters Sith training under Overseer Harkun.

Appearance: Gianna has light tan skin and a tall, athletic, curvaceous build with broad shoulders, a defined waist, full hips, strong thighs, and a moderate bust. Her eyes are blue-gray with dark pupils, surrounded by heavy black eye makeup and broad dark crimson makeup extending outward from the outer corners. Her hair is dark auburn-brown, pulled tightly away from her forehead and gathered into a compact rounded bun at the back of her head. She wears a fitted olive-green uniform with a short-sleeved V-neck outer layer over a darker close-fitting undershirt whose long sleeves extend to her wrists. Pale gray bands wrap around the ends of the short sleeves, while brown-gray wrist guards encircle both forearms.

Her olive-green trousers fit closely through the hips and legs, with broad pale gray horizontal bands around both thighs and additional pale bands above the lower-leg coverings. A dark brown utility belt wraps around her waist and is secured by a rectangular silver buckle at the center, with a small brown pouch attached at one side. Her lower legs are covered by tall dark gray-brown boots reaching nearly to the knees, constructed with multiple wrapped sections, lighter gray horizontal bands, and darker reinforced panels around the ankles and feet.

Personality: Gianna is ambitious, forceful, and deeply convinced that success within the Sith Empire is worth severe personal risk. She genuinely cares about Zi'am, but that care is shaped by her belief that hardship, hatred, and suffering can make him stronger. She has little sympathy for fear of the Sith trials and sees refusing such an opportunity as cowardice rather than protection.

Zi'am is the center of Gianna’s ambitions, and she is willing to sacrifice nearly everything she owns to secure what she considers his proper future. Her relationship with Kendrel has already collapsed by the time he takes their son, and she regards him with contempt for abandoning Sith training and settling into service under a Hutt. Kendrel, in turn, sees Gianna’s plan as placing their son directly into the same brutal system he barely escaped.

Gianna has no notable supernatural abilities or specialized equipment of her own. Her strengths are primarily persistence, familiarity with life on Hutta, and a willingness to hire capable outsiders when direct action is beyond her.
