Giacomo (Japanese: ピーニャ Piña) is the boss of Team Star's Dark crew, the Segin Squad, and serves as the overall leader of the team due to the absence of the founder of the team. He specializes in Dark-type Pokémon. Giacomo is a wannabe DJ and the creator of Team Star's theme songs, also going by the name "DJ Vice" (Japanese: ＤＪ悪事 DJ Bad Deeds) when on stage.

Giacomo is a young man with black hair, black eyes, and an overbite. He wears a white baseball cap with red and green symbols, a black backpack in his back with red, yellow and green rectangles. A black jacket with his Naranja Academy school uniform underneath, consisting of a white shirt a blue vest with the Team Star symbol, black pants, white, green and red sneakers and pokeball headphones in his neck. He is seen carrying a laptop with the symbol on it.

Giacomo's preference for Dark types is reflected in his radical appearance, but particularly his interest in music. The neon light patterns and his bright laptop shine more in a dark room like a music hall and music is easier to enjoy in a dark setting where one cannot see much to be distracted from the music. He also has the typical shady eyes indicating that he does most of his work in the dark and probably sleeps during the day. His clothes have a counter-culture like aesthetic to make him appear socially rebellious, despite otherwise being a nice person if not still radical.

During the bonus game content, Giacomo is shown to wear his school uniform, which gives him a more by-the-book appearance, wearing a black sweater vest over a white button up with black wrist cuffs, an orange tie with the academy symbol on it, and a pair of dark purple colored knee high shorts. He wears plain black uniform shoes as well as black knee high socks, standing with a more closed and stiff posture compared to his usual laid back posture. Giacomo also doesn't wear his signature baseball cap, which usually hides his prominent forehead.

Giacomo is relied on by the rest of Team Star for bringing the team together and enacting plans with care. He is reportedly known to hold one-man surprise DJ concerts.

Team Star is an organisation in Naranja Academy created to fight against bullying in the school.

Before the formation of Team Star, Giacomo was elected the president of the Naranja Academy student council, but the student conduct policies he proposed were so unintuitive and strict that he lost all support. After only a short time in office, he was forced out by the students, who elected Nemona as his replacement. Humiliated and alone, Giacomo found solace and companionship among a group of students who were similarly victims of bullying and ostracism at the school, and they went on to create Team Star. Despite his doubts, the other bosses of Team Star encouraged him to codify Team Star's current code of conduct, which the group follows to this day.

Giacomo specializes in Dark-type Pokemon. The Pokemon he owns includes Kingambit, Mabosstiff, Krookodile, Honchkrow and Cacturne. In his base, he uses the Segin Mobile, a modified Revavroom with Dark as its typing.
