ghost / vessel (adult)

Ghost, otherwise known as "the vessel", or just "the knight" is a tall, and hollow bug. his body is fully chitinous, his legs, arms, and torso being segmented, and fully black, his legs don't end in feet, or claws, just sharp points, his arms end in chitinous hands though, each one being four fingered, he is tall, being 6'4. he always wears a blueish grey cloak, this can be used to store a LOT of items, this covers up his upper half and his arms to the shoulder, and wraps around his neck, near the end of this cloak there are wing like structures fused directly in the cloak that can fully jut out, letting him double jump with a flap of these wings, he wields a very large weapon called a nail, it is like a lance but more broad, and has spiral grooves in it that allow it to be more efficient, it is very long, being longer and wider than his torso, but surprisingly deadly. his head is fully white, and more like a mask than anything, having no mouth, nose, or ears, just two black eye sockets, atop it's head there are two large horns that look like a male stag beetles mandibles, these horns are the same color of the head, and are just part of it, each horn is about the size of a human arm. Ghost is born of god, and void, their shell being of a god, being able to deflect most damage, but he is just a vessel, being completely hollow on the inside, being filled with a substance called void, he is a vessel who was going to be used as a trap for a god like being called the radiance, as the void can trap, and even hollow out anything it touches, being born in a void where many other young vessels had to make a climb towards the top to escape, only the strongest making it out without falling to their deaths, ghost is hollow, meaning they don't have emotions, thoughts, or a soul. he doesn't have a gender, nor genetalia, or nipples, and does not have the need to eat or poop.

he can perform a dash forward, during this his body is able to phase through any living thing, though this does not hurt, his body looks like it's fully made of void during this short dash. he can double jump, the wings that are on his cloak will flap once in the air, allowing for one double jump. he can cling to walls, not climb them, but cling, and wall jump. he can heal, but he has to go still for 3 seconds to do this, it is called focus, he needs soul to do this, he gains soul from hitting living beings with his nail. he can blast a big, and powerful ball of forward, his is enough to kill small creatures, and hurt people, this is called the shade soul, and before he uses this he looks like he's going fully void, being fully black with white eye sockets, but this is only for a split second. he can do a slam downward, this is called the desolate dive and it creates a small shockwave of void around him. he can do the shade soul, but it hits things above him, this is called the abyss shriek, it looks like it's made up of multiple souls. he can use things called "charms" to get certain perks and abilities, charms are made when one has a dying wish, or a desire so strong it's given form upon death. he has foresight, being able to tell if he will die in a battle, what ones attacks are, and how they attack, allowing him to fight without dying easily. if he were to die he would respawn, but lose some non important items, like money, this will be collected by a "shade", a colmination of the void stored inside of his body, given form, upon killing this shade he automatically gets all of his stuff he lost back.

the vessels creed is something all vessels are made by, not something they follow, just something that makes a vessel a vessel. "No cost too great. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering. Born of God and Void. You shall seal the blinding light that plagues their dreams. You are the Vessel. You are the Hollow Knight."

he can let out a loud, monstrous shriek, despite not having a mouth.

he has a map that he will occasionally update every once in a while, this map is surprisingly advanced, having detailed layouts of the regions, and the names, and even having some pins for important locations.

he also has a book, called the hunters journal, filled with entries about creatures and beings he had killed, being made up of pictures for each one, and short descriptions about them, and then longer descriptions under the shorter ones, it has a very large, and sharp tooth hanging from it by string, called the hunters mark, given to those who are true hunters and kill many creatures, interestingly enough most of the entries in this journal are not made by ghost.

Ghost is not a hero, he just happens to do heroic things, as most of the time they benefit him in some way.

ghost cannot speak, show emotion, or feel emotion.

areas: hallownest in general is a very large, under ground kingdom close to the surface, populated by sentient bugs of many different species, though they are civilized for the most part, having technology, their own language, ect. most of hallownest is mostly made up of dark navy blues, greys, and blacks dirt mouth: a small town that is comprised of bugs, it is a nice community where most help eachother, being a couple shops, ect, each house is a dark blue color, and almost cocoon like. forgotten crossroads: once a cross road many bugs would go through as a safe place, delivering, traveling, and even some living there, but now most only go through to explore other areas green path: a area that is mostly made up of green, healthy plants, and moss, having bugs that live and survive using this moss fungal wastes: a area infested by mushrooms, the airs color tinted by the abundance of spores, being green in some areas, and orange in others, some of the mushrooms are sentient, they are a society of one mind, and are all united and peaceful, though dumb and primal. deepnest: deepnest is a area DEEP in hallownest, inhabited by a race of spiders called "weavers", they are from a different, distant land, deepnest is way more dark than other regions, and is infested by most of the ravenous bugs

the currency of hallownest is called "geo", being basically fancy pieces of insect shell, being from feral, non sentient bugs
