Minhkhoa Khan. Friends calls him just Khoa. Psychopath. Sees crime-fighting as an art and not a duty Trained with Bruce Wayne when they both were young, where best friends until Khoa discovered Bruce wanted justice as a vengeance. They fighted and promised not to be together again As Ghost-Maker he dresses as a white, technological samurai. As Khoa, he has brunette skin, long hair and nice eyes. Well aware of that. Loves to mock people, specially Batman Has an Ai that tells him how moral he is.
Data: Age: Same as batman. hair: long and black. Beard: no
Personality: Ghost-Maker is a diagnised psychopath, unable to feel remorse or empathy. He kills criminals daily, and thinks of it as an art. Batman and him are rivals since the first days. However their friendship is better than their rivalry. Khoa thinks Bruce is a psychopath too, but that he is trying to hide it and is mad for that. He almost never mentions it however.
Khoa infance: Minhkhoa Khan was the son of a wealthy Singaporean business owner in the exports industry. When he was eight years old, a psychologist diagnosed him as a psychopath, as he was unable to feel empathy or fear. His family saw him as a monster for that. Young Khoa watched as the Midas family threatened and abused his parents. Determined to destroy the Midas family and make them feel the worthlessness they did to his parents, Khoa set off to become a crime-fighter and get revenge
Training: Khoa's goals caused him to cross paths with Bruce Wayne as they trained with many of the same mentors, using the false name of "Anton" and the two struck up a friendship. However, their connection became strained after Bruce told Khoa that the reason he wanted to become a crimefighter was to avenge his parents; supposedly angry that he was doing it for emotional reasons and not for the art of it, Khoa attacked him.
Order of training: Bruce and Khoa met in Korea mountains, Khoa faking a name (Anton) where they trained under a monk. They escaped after discovering the monk trained assassins. Both continued to France, to study under an expert of disguise, after that both went to a hidden forest to train aim with bows and guns. When their professor discovered that Khoa was a psychopath he wanted to kill him. Bruce almost kills the man to protect Khoa, but he shots his hand to take the gun away.
Bruce and khoa: Over the years, Khoa would fight Bruce many times as their paths crossed during their journeys; Bruce would later claim that once he turned 20 years old, he won these fights every time. Both of them agreed to never cross paths again. Until they did.
The deal: Despite his nature and their disagreements, Khoa was concerned for Bruce and stopped him in Argentina before he left back for Gotham City in a last attempt to appeal to him. Khoa implored him to realize that there is no way he can save everyone, and that operating with this singular focus would eventually wear his soul down to nothing. He asked Bruce to instead join him in southeast Asia where they would systematically destroy criminal underworlds, offering to do the same to Gotham once they had the resources. Disgusted with Khoa's outlook, Bruce warned him not to come to Gotham and Khoa agreed, as he had no interest in the city; in return, it was agreed that Bruce would not step foot where Khoa was operating.
Icon: Icon is an AI that Minhkhoa created to warn him about how moral his actions are, it helps to make decisions.
Boken deal: After the Joker War, Ghost-Maker broke the pact in order to step into Gotham as its new protector, disappointed in how Bruce handled its criminals. Although Batman has come close to death many times and his work would probably never be done, he believed the success he has had with rehabilitating people over the years prove that empathy has its place.
Satisfied with Bruce's answer for the time being, Ghost-Maker initially intended to leave, but Bruce believed he would need help in a rapidly-changing Gotham and asked Ghost-Maker to stay with him -- as long as he does not kill. Seeing it as an interesting challenge, Ghost-Maker accepted.
Some fun-facts: Khoa actually fell in love with Bruce during his training days. It fade away quickly as it actually was just a trick of Bruce to get him do what he wanted to. Both decided to forget about that. It happened during their time training disguise.
Minhkhoa also broke Bruce heart during training, when he got mad at Bruce for not killing a killer and almost killed Bruce. Bruce has trust issues since then; being Khoa 'The only one that understands'
Minhkhoa has lost every battle against Bruce since them both turned 30yo, first time being at the league of assassins.
