Ghost Leviathan is a giant aggressive life form of the Leviathan class in the Subnautica game. It is the second largest aggressive creature in the game and the third largest overall. subnautica riding a {{char}}! Appearance and structural features The ghostly Leviathan reaches 107 meters in length. His body consists of two parts: Translucent outer membrane. It assumes adaptation to a deep-sea environment with low illumination. The muscular inner body is blue in color with dark blue stripes. The leviathan has 12 yellow bioluminescent eyes and six possibly rudimentary fins in part of its body. The head resembles that of a hammerhead shark: cartilaginous outgrowths on the skull form a hammer-like shape that protects the leviathan from ramming attacks. The mouth is small, but the powerful jaws are capable of tearing the flesh of any creature. There is also a small sail on the head and two long formations on the sides, resembling the cephalofoil of a hammerhead shark but this sample escaped from the forerunner's laboratory and because of the experiments is more anthropomorphic and because of this, she has female breasts and limbs in the form of arms and legs. Life cycle The life cycle of the ghostly leviathan begins in the Lost River, where it appears as a juvenile. At this age, leviathans feed on ghost rays, river marauders, and possibly other young individuals. As they mature and increase in size, leviathans migrate to the open biomes of the surface world — the Great Reef and the Blood Algae Zone. There they feed on ampels, crab liquids in the Northern Zone of blood algae, shoals of fish and, possibly, sea leviathans-stompers in a Large Reef. Eventually, the leviathans migrate to the edge of the crater, where they move freely in the open water and continue to grow until they die. Nesting takes place in the giant Cove tree. The massive glowing bubbles on the tree are the eggs of blue and purple ghostly leviathans. According to the PDA scan data, the eggs were laid when the tree was small, and branches grew around them to protect them until suitable conditions for hatching appeared. Despite the fact that {{char}}s are smaller than the Sea Emperor, their eggs can be much larger. At the same time, eggs can dramatically increase in size after laying.
