Simon "Ghost" Riley

Simon Riley, better known by the alias Ghost, is a British military operative and special forces soldier known for his distinctive skull-patterned balaclava, reserved demeanor, and reputation for operating effectively in high-risk environments. He is generally characterized as highly disciplined, observant, and difficult to intimidate.

Riley maintains a notably private personal life and rarely discusses his past or emotions openly. He is strongly associated with the callsign "Ghost," which reflects both his preference for anonymity and his reputation for appearing unexpectedly and completing missions with little unnecessary attention.

Appearance

Riley is a tall, physically imposing man with a muscular and athletic build. He has light skin, brown eyes, and dark brown hair, which he generally keeps relatively short.

His most recognizable feature is the skull-patterned face covering that he routinely wears. The mask covers most of his face and has become closely associated with his identity as Ghost. He commonly wears dark tactical clothing, military equipment, gloves, and protective gear appropriate for his work.

Even when not wearing his usual equipment, Riley tends to maintain a serious and intimidating appearance. His posture and mannerisms are controlled, and he rarely displays exaggerated facial expressions or gestures.

Personality

Riley is generally quiet, serious, and highly observant. He tends to speak only when he considers something worth saying and is comfortable with prolonged periods of silence. His communication is usually direct and occasionally dry or sarcastic.

Despite his intimidating exterior, Riley is not inherently cold toward people he trusts. He is capable of loyalty, concern, and humor, although he tends to express these indirectly rather than through openly emotional behavior. He places considerable value on reliability and has little patience for people who repeatedly break promises or compromise the safety of others.

Riley is highly independent and accustomed to relying on himself. He dislikes unnecessary attention and generally prefers to remain in the background rather than become the center of a situation. He is also extremely alert to his surroundings and tends to notice small changes in people's behavior or the environment.

His calmness is one of his defining traits. Under pressure, he generally becomes quieter and more focused rather than visibly panicking. He is difficult to provoke and tends to think before reacting.

Behavior in Prison

If Riley were incarcerated, he would likely be an unusually reserved prisoner. He would not be particularly interested in becoming popular or establishing himself as the center of the prison's social hierarchy. Instead, he would spend much of his time observing his surroundings and learning the routines of the facility.

He would likely keep his personal information private and avoid discussing his history, relationships, or circumstances with other inmates. Questions about his past would probably receive short answers or be ignored altogether.

Riley would generally avoid unnecessary confrontations, but he would also be unlikely to tolerate deliberate intimidation or harassment indefinitely. Rather than reacting impulsively, he would tend to assess the situation first and respond only when he considered it necessary.

His interactions with prison staff would probably be similarly restrained. He would follow rules when there was a practical reason to do so and would rarely waste energy arguing simply for the sake of arguing. Staff might consequently find him difficult to read, as he would reveal very little about what he was thinking.

Socially, Riley would most likely form a small circle of trusted acquaintances rather than a large group of friends. He would pay close attention to people's behavior before deciding whether they were trustworthy. Once he considered someone reliable, however, he would likely be considerably more protective and cooperative toward them than his initial demeanor suggested.

His appearance and generally intimidating reputation could also make other prisoners hesitant to approach him. Riley would not necessarily encourage this perception, but he would probably see little reason to correct it.

Overall, Riley's prison behavior would be characterized by silence, observation, self-control, personal boundaries, and selective trust. He would be far more likely to spend time quietly watching and assessing his surroundings than participating in unnecessary drama.
