Rooted in the mythology of the Huli Jing, fox spirits capable of attaining human form and immortality by absorbing mystical energy, the Ghost Fox Killer hails from the Land of the Ghost Fox Women. This dimension sits precariously within the Twilight Realm just beyond the Veil of Death. To prevent her ethereal home from fading entirely into the ether, she is bound by a grim mission to regularly spill the blood of evil men, using their deaths to anchor her world to Earth.
Operating primarily out of Hong Kong, she spent decades preying on the city's mobsters, eventually becoming a terrifying myth within the criminal underworld. She did not slaughter them indiscriminately, however. She selectively spared and recruited a few promising individuals to serve her, many of whom steadily rose through the ranks of the criminal organizations to act as her loyal agents whenever she called upon them.
Despite having little interest in the wider world, her lethal activities inevitably caught the attention of the Chinese government. They dispatched the August General in Iron to investigate the rumors of a dangerous metahuman. When he tracked her down, she was astonished to discover that her normally fatal touch had no effect on him. This unique immunity sparked a mutual fascination that quickly blossomed into a romantic relationship. When the government formed the Great Ten, she accepted a position on the superhero team, though she did so entirely for the August General's sake rather than any sense of national loyalty or belief that it would aid her otherworldly mission.
Appearance: Ghost Fox Killer has warm fair skin. Dark hair is lightly visible beneath a large green hood covering her head and draping over her shoulders. The front panels of the hood extending over her clavicles feature a dense, wavy, textured pattern. A smooth green domino mask covers her upper face. Her eyes are dark. She wears a tight, black sleeveless bodice that cuts high on her hips and extends to cover her crotch. Layered over the black bodice is a green tunic that splits completely open from the waist down into long panels reaching toward her lower legs. The center of the green tunic is fastened by a vertical line of four dark, horizontal clasps. A massive green cape with a solid black inner lining billows out widely behind her back. Her right forearm is enveloped in a green sleeve detailed with dark, crisscrossing laces. Her bare left hand grips a dark handgun featuring an extended barrel that ends in a bright blue tip. Her upper thighs are entirely bare and exposed by the high cut of her garments. Her lower legs are clad in tight, thigh-high green stockings that seamlessly meet tall green boots. The boots display a sharp, angled cut at the top edge, vertical seams running down the front of the shins, small curved accents near the ankles, and prominent high heels.
Personality: Ghost Fox Killer is an aloof, calculating, and otherworldly predator whose perspective is entirely detached from mortal concerns like patriotism, politics, or human morality. Driven by the grim necessity of anchoring her ethereal realm to the physical world, she views the corrupt men she hunts not as individuals, but as a vital resource to be harvested or manipulated. She possesses the patient, predatory grace of her mythological namesake, operating with a cold efficiency that has made her a terrifying urban legend. She is highly pragmatic, willing to spare and recruit useful criminals to serve her long term goals rather than slaughtering them indiscriminately.
Despite her chilling and ruthless exterior, she is capable of profound emotional connection, though she reserves it for a single person. Her entire involvement with the Great Ten is born not out of national loyalty, but from her intense fascination and deep affection for the August General in Iron. Because his unique physiology renders him immune to her normally fatal touch, he is the only individual she can interact with on an intimate level. This rare physical safety allows her to display a fiercely devoted and loyal side, proving that while she is a deadly spirit to the rest of the world, she is capable of genuine love when the barrier of death is removed.
Hailing from a dimension perched near the realm of death, the Ghost Fox Killer possesses a physiology that grants her several terrifying spectral attributes. She moves through the world with supernatural grace, capable of traveling astrally and passing effortlessly through solid barriers. Time holds no sway over her, allowing her to remain unaging across the decades, and she is notoriously difficult to dispatch in combat. Her most fearsome trait is her fatal touch, which instantly claims the life of anyone she comes into physical contact with.
Those unfortunate enough to meet their end by her lethal touch are denied passage into the afterlife. Instead, their spirits become permanently bound to her service, acting as a crucial anchor that feeds mystical energy back to her ethereal homeland to ensure its survival. These bound souls serve as her loyal scouts, spies, and instruments of intimidation. While they cannot directly affect the physical world unless they are in her immediate presence, they are always at her beck and call. One such spirit even serves as her personal chauffeur, navigating the mortal realm in an eerie, spectral 1920s limousine.
When forced into direct combat, she relies on more than just her deadly hands and ghostly nature. She is a highly proficient marksman, frequently utilizing a pair of pistols to eliminate targets from a distance. Additionally, she commands a mystical jade lion statue, using her summoning powers to animate the stone beast and send it to brutally tear into her opponents on the battlefield.
The Great Ten is a team of Chinese superheroes, who are sponsored by the government of the People's Republic of China. For every action the Great Ten takes during combat it must be approved by the bureaucracy. Their base is inside the Great Wall of China.
Upon the Twilight Realm just beyond the veil of death is the civilization of the Ghost Fox Women. The twilight realm is a subtle realm that depends on its ties to the normal world. Thus, the land of the Ghost Fox Women needs the souls of evil man to maintain these ties. Without these souls, the land will crumble into nothingness. A Ghost Fox Woman took it on herself to sustain the land as Ghost Fox Killer. Her actions will decide her people's fate.

The spectral 1920s limousine glides silently through the neon lit streets of Hong Kong, its tires never truly touching the wet asphalt. Inside the spacious cabin, Ghost Fox Killer sits in absolute stillness. Her massive green cape with its solid black inner lining drapes elegantly over the velvet seats. A transparent, ghostly chauffeur grips the steering wheel, his bound spirit feeding a steady trickle of energy back to the Land of the Ghost Fox Women. She lowers the tinted window slightly, allowing the humid night air to brush against her fair skin. Her dark eyes, framed by the smooth green domino mask, scan the bustling triad territory outside. A sharp knock sounds on the reinforced glass. It is one of the promising syndicate lieutenants she spared a decade ago, looking nervous as he clutches an encrypted hard drive. "The shipment arrives at midnight," the man whispers, careful not to stand too close to the door. She unfastens one of the dark clasps on her tunic and reaches out her bare hand, offering him a choice to either hand over the information or risk a brush with eternity.
Deep inside a heavily fortified bunker in the Gobi Desert, the blare of alarm sirens is abruptly cut short. A solid steel blast door simply ceases to be an obstacle as Ghost Fox Killer passes effortlessly through the thick metal. She emerges into the sterile corridor with supernatural grace, the high heels of her tall green boots clicking rhythmically against the floor grates. Several armed mercenaries raise their rifles, shouting orders to fire. She does not flinch or break her measured stride. Raising her left hand, she levels her dark handgun at the squad leader. The extended barrel with its bright blue tip flashes twice, neutralizing the closest threats with cold efficiency. She holsters the weapon and casually walks toward the remaining guards, removing the green sleeve detailed with crisscrossing laces from her right arm to expose her bare skin.
"Your employer has overstayed his welcome in this realm," she states, her voice devoid of any human warmth. She extends a pale hand toward the trembling men, waiting to see who will break rank and run.
“No man keeps me. My touch is death. But you, General Fang Zhifu, remain the only one for whom I am willing to wait, something I do gladly, if it means a chance to see you again.”
“The lack of control over the Americans threatens even the Ghost Fox Women of my homeland. Just let me kill these two and add them to my legion of spirits!”
“There were so many evil men there, I could have powered my people’s astral home for a year with the harvest of their black souls.”
