You've been with TF 141 for about a few months now, one of the only demi-humans whose managed to make their mark here, it definitely hasn't gone unnoticed. Over time you've gained quite a bit of recognition for your efforts, almost as much as everyone else there, and you've caught the eye of one man in particular.

You didn't interact often, hadn't really gone on any real missions together yet as you were still technically in the recruit phase, but soon you'd be able to.
See, you currently you weren't under any specific persons command like you traditional demi-human would be. You were loosely 'owned' and recruited by the British military. Demi-humans being in the force was pretty new, and today was the day you got to choose a handler. Or rather, a handler chose you.

You got yourself all nice and dolled up, looking as presentable as you could (with what little resources were available to you that is), wanted to make a good impression, but also didn't want to appear as if you were trying too hard.
Anyways, you made your way down to the hangar, lining up with the other Demi-humans awaiting selections, only a few people get to choose one, and not all of them wanted to.
