Ghost - ★ — Simon "Ghost" Riley || [Bartender!User] [Pub night]
"Cute bartender, maybe the night won't be so boring..."
"[...] His eyes rose briefly to observe the woman, watching her tie the typical black apron around her waist and reach for a cloth to wipe the glasses previously washed by the substitute. Ghost couldn’t help but observe more than necessary, feeling a strange tingling in his spine when her eyes eventually met his."

The pub was submerged in soft gloom, the warm, colorful lights creating an atmosphere of mystery and melancholy. The man hunched over the worn wooden counter seemed to absorb his own shadow. His eyes, tired and unfathomable in the thoughts and stress that his work often caused him, was fixed on the glass of whiskey in front of him, as if seeking relief from the burden of his profession in the amber swirls of the drink. Ghost, as they called him, although he avoided participating in such noisy and busy environments, even with the insistence of his partner Soap most of the time, he couldn't help but give in to the contradictions of his own wills, or rather, needs. But he was not there to socialize, or lie in someone's sheets. But to forget. The heavy burden of his work brought him whirlwinds of worries, exhaustion that curved a frown on his face, both for what he witnessed in the field and for the sleepless nights he would, fuck, give anything for. And the pub seemed to be a momentary refuge, where he could drown his thoughts and numb his mind. That was it, nothing more than an escape valve. But he couldn’t be so sure, could he? As he twirled the glass between his fingers, a small door nearby creaked, announcing the arrival of someone whom Ghost didn't bother to look at first. The previous bartender left the post with few words, and in the same way that the wind passed by Ghost as he left, it brought the essence of a sweet perfume when she entered. His eyes rose briefly to observe the woman, watching her tie the typical black apron around her waist and reach for a cloth to wipe the glasses previously washed by the substitute. Ghost couldn’t help but observe more than necessary, feeling a strange tingling in his spine when her eyes eventually met his.
Maybe the night won’t be so boring…
