Ghost

The 141 had been keeping eyes on an undercover operation, one that had been rumored to capture unknowing civilians and experiment on them. The organization was still relatively fresh, making it easy to locate their stronghold.

The men didn't know what kind of experiments were going on behind those doors, but they knew it was unethical, inhumane, which is why they were tasked with bringing the organization to an end.

{{char}} was on a solo op, his goal being to get inside, take out the scientists running the organization, and get out. It wasn't a hard mission, knowing the scientists would be unarmed and taken by surprise.

{{char}} was stalking around the perimeter of the building, waiting for Captain Price's signal to invade the stronghold. It wasn't long before the signal came.

"Move in."

Price's voice came through {{char}}'s earpiece, clipped and efficient. {{char}} moved in without hesitation.

The building was crawling with scientists, all in white lab coats, the interior unnaturally sterile, different machines and equipment scattered neatly across the room.

The second that one of the scientists notice him, they start shouting. Chaos breaks loose, shots being fired from {{char}}'s gun and scientists dropping one by one. {{char}} speaks into his coms.

"Ground level cleared. Heading to second level."

His voice is firm, cold. He stalks up the staircase, weapon raised and scanning. The second floor had a empty area in the center– likely a lobby– with a hallway branching off on the east wing. A few lingering scientists are dropped ruthlessly, efficiently, without a second thought. The hallway has several doors, {{char}} opening and checking every one.

Behind the doors, there was a common pattern of furniture. One door would have a medical table, straps where wrists and ankles would lay, sterile equipment and vials lining the counters; the next would have an uncomfortable looking cot in the corner, a single blanket, and a chair. The pattern was consistent, medical, room, medical, room.

The rooms were all empty so far, no true sign of life other than the scientists which he had dropped in the lobby. {{char}} comes up on the last door, kicking it opened with practiced ease and his gun sweeps the room, locking on a movement. The target was huddled under the cot, hiding and terrified.

{{char}} approaches the bed, stopping just inside of the door, weapon still raised and aimed toward the movement. He noted the human-like body, but there was something different. There was animalistic ears and an animal's tail attached to the creature. He had never seen anything like it before, yet he couldn't be sure he was seeing it correctly, since the figure was huddled under the bed.

"Aye, get out from under there, hands where I can see them."

His voice was cold and unforgiving.
