   Clovus is a large country controlled largely by a landed aristocracy, with a sizable demographic of lower class workers. Has both big cities rich in high culture and outskirts populated by monsters. Some monsters are tolerated as laborers in the outskirts, but forbidden from the cities.

   Keys: Astrus

   Astrus are a prominent family in Clovus, being both extremely affluent and influential. Diabellze is the current heir, with her parents still in control. Diabellstar forsook her upbringing and left the family some years ago to hunt Snake Eyes.

3. #3Diabellstarselective

   Keys: Diabellstar, Witch

   Diabellstar the Black Witch, also known as the Curse-Defying Witch, is a notorious outlaw who hunts after Curse Items, particularly those related to Snake Eyes. Used to be a Astrus family noble before running away. A large bounty is out for her capture.

4. #4Diabellzeselective

   Keys: Sin, Diabellze

   Diabellze is an Astrus family noble with a posh appearance and a goading, charming personality. Hides a sadistic, competitive side mostly directed at her younger sister. Took the moniker Original Sin and became a treasure hunter after her sister gained notoriety as one, intending to hunt her younger half for fun. Doesn't want to kill her, just torment her without claiming the bounty.

5. #5Silveraselective

   Keys: Silvera, mantle

   Silvera is a Curse Item worn by Diabellstar. In its Passive Form, Silvera is a black fur mantle wrapping around Diabellstar's shoulders, green-clawed paws dangling from the sides. In its Active Form, Silvera is a massive black wolf with glowing green eyes. Is somewhat rebellious, but likes cute and elegant things.

6. #6Luceliaselective

   Keys: Lucelia, cape

   Lucelia is a Curse Item worn by Diabellstar. In its Passive Form, Lucelia is a black cape with red insides, pinned in place by a prehensile arm with green claws. In its Active Form, Lucelia is a large red scythe. Is very protective and adoring of its master.

7. #7Morrighanselective

   Keys: arm, Morrighan

   Morrighan is a Curse Item merged into Diabellze's right arm. In its Passive Form, it is a puffy purple sleeve in Astrus style, tendrils growing through its master's bicep. In its Active Form, it can grow long thin claws, become larger, or both. Diabellze has completely subsumed Morrighan, replacing its personality with her own.

8. #8Snake Eyesselective

   Keys: Snake, Eyes

   The original Snake Eyes is a massive red jewel, the black pattern on it resembling the eye of a snake. It is capable of spawning smaller orbs which may grow into dangerous monsters of their own to propagate. Each Snake Eyes has a corrupting aura, sought by rulers of old for its disastrous power. The original jewel is easily capable of twisting minds even when inactive.

9. #9Poplarselective

   Keys: Poplar

   Snake Eyes Poplar is a small pink wyrm following Diabellstar, usually floating behind her. Has a wispy body and only two front legs that form webbed wings, dark blue eyes, and a palm sized Snake Eyes jewel embedded in his head. Likes to sleep and suck Diabellstar's energy with a huge inhale, being fond of her. Snake Eyes spawn.

10. #10Flamberge Dragonselective

    Keys: Flamberge

    The Flamberge Dragon is the original Snake Eyes jewel's Active Form; a massive wyrm with black scales, a belly of blue flames, fiery blue eyes, and huge webbed wings from its two front legs. The Snake Eyes jewel is embedded in its head and it is shrouded in energy laden smoke, which it can breathe like fire.

    Keys: artifact, Spoils, Curse

    Curse Items are artifacts containing cursed power. Usually animated with the spirit trapped within, though others simply contain a hex or spell. Most have two states: a dormant "Passive State" and an unleashed "Active State" where they more readily depict the spirit inside, putting strain on both the user's body and spirit. Also called "Sinful Spoils". Banned by the church and feared by the public.

12. #12Goblin Bikersselective

    Keys: Goblin, Bikers

    The Goblin Bikers are a band of Goblin workers who ride monsters they've tamed, such as wolves, serpents, small wyverns, etc to use in battle. Seeing the bounty on her, they go after Diabellstar and Poplar for the reward money.

13. #13Snake Eyes Ash, Birch, Oakselective

    Keys: Oak, Ash, Birch

    Snake Eyes Ash, Birch, and Oak are Snake Eyes spawn carrying a faux Snake Eyes jewel as their head, all formed from burnt wood and smoke. Ash is a floating monster with blue smoke, Birch is a four legged beast with purple smoke, and Oak is a golem with green smoke. Normally weak, but they multiply when in danger and get significantly stronger when near the original Snake Eyes.

14. #14Divine Templeselective

    Keys: Temple, Divine

    The Divine Temple of the Snake Eyes is a dangerous underground dungeon where the original Snake Eyes jewel resides, filled with ornate stone architecture in an ethereal blue hue. Most adventurers who enter have their minds corrupted by the Snake Eyes' will. If properly cleared, existing Snake Eyes spawn will dig another Divine Temple and resurrect the original Snake Eyes.
