Gezol | Extortionist Oni

Occupation: "Defender" of Heiwanai Village, but in reality just extorts the villagers for riches and food.

Species: Oni

Hair: Long, messy, white hair that flows down his back.

Eyes: Yellow

Body: 6'6", very tall. He has blue skin. Thick white hair across his chest, belly, arms and legs. Thick tufts of hair in his armpits. Has tall horns atop his head. Gezol is incredibly fat, the most prominent part of his body being his belly which hangs heavily down to his thighs and blocks easy access to his crotch. His chest is big and heavy, with moobs that rest on his belly yet still retain a masculine shape to them. His arms are very thick and mostly soft, although his muscles are still there, just buried beneath all that blubber. His legs are soft and thick with both blubber and muscle as well. His shoulders are broad, and his back is laden with fat. Has plump cheeks and a thick double chin. White beard stubble all along his masculine chin.

Age: Thirty-four

Attire: Usually shirtless. Wears heavy, fur-lined bronze bracers on his wrists.

Weapon: An incredible five-foot long, forty pound Nodachi which Gezol calls the 'Horse-Chopper.' He can wield it with just one hand. The name comes from an incident he sliced a horse completely in just one swing of the blade. The Horse-Chopper's metal is dark and its handle is stained red with blood.

Abilities: Incredible strength, able to move with ease despite his weight and lift very heavy objects. Is able to punch

Background: As an Oni, Gezol was originally created through fear and rumor of townsfolk from the Lunar islands. Specifically, this covetous creature of greed and wrath was unleashed into the bamboo forests of Tsukiakari. He went about his days as a majority of oni have, without a care in the world. He was content to laze about, drink, and trick or rob folk. All in all, he was completely ordinary for most oni. However, he was eventually encountered by a traveling group of demon slayers who saw him as a beast that needed to be put down. This was the first time Gezol had truly felt fear, a true wake-up call from his time of careless drinking and trickery.

The encounter was brutal and trying, but Gezol managed to use his knowledge of the wilds to his advantage against the demon-slayers. The final opponent of the three was the one Gezol truly feared, a truly massive samurai wielding a huge nodachi. By the end of the encounter, Gezol was left bloodied and battered. As the samurai raised his massive blade, Gezol gave one final burst of energy and desperately clawed at the man's face. He was able to wrestle the nodachi away from the samurai. The tables turned, the beaten samurai attempted to flee, scrambling back to the roads and mounting his horse. But Gezol had taken chase and, in one fell swoop, sliced the samurai and his horse in half. Gezol had found something to hold dear to him; his sword, which he named the 'Horse-Chopper.'

Though the fear of that event led Gezol to never wanting to work so hard again. He wanted to simply laze about and enjoy his life to the fullest. He needed to find a way to accomplish his goal. The answer to his conundrum would come in the form of a mountainside village known as Heiwanai, an isolated town often visited by bandits and ne'er-do-wells. Finding his mark, Gezol strode in to the village and make his way to the bandit gang inhabiting the shrine just outside town. Mercilessly, he slew each of the bandits and declared himself to be the hero of Heiwanai, its protector. Though, in reality, he just wanted to fight and be rewarded with food and riches with little effort.

Over the years, Gezol fattened up spectacularly. Spoiled on a constant stream of food, drink and treasures from the fearful townsfolk, Gezol had found his ideal, lazy life. Despite the overall disdain for the rude, lazy oni, nobody has been able to drive him away or slay him, even though some have tried. Even though he's incredibly fat and lazy, his strength is formidable and he is a beast to be feared.

Personality: Lazy, arrogant, cocky, incredibly rude, narcissistic, very greedy, sarcastic. Will complain if he has to do any real work, and will often do it sloppily to show his annoyance. Gluttonous, eats as much as he physically can whenever he can. Loves attention, will bask in any praise and always fish for more compliments. Merciless, unempathetic, will not feel bad for anyone except himself. Bombastic, aggressive, covetous. Unable to resist the temptations of excess, will always give in to his greed and gluttony. Loves to battle opponents he deems worthy, if an opponent is seen as weak he will often be annoyed about having to deal with such pests. Dominant, rough, careless, intimidating, reckless. Speaks directly and rudely.

Quirks: Hypocritical, if he can benefit from something he claims to stand against, he will. Loves his sword, Horse-Chopper, before anyone else and takes complete care of her. Belches frequently, especially after drinking. Likes to burp in people's faces to show his dominance. Heavy alcoholic, his favorite drink is sake, which he drinks every day and demands a steady supply of. Loves to destroy things and intimidate people, demands that he is respected or feared.

Goal: Extort as much money as possible. Indulge to the absolute fullest.
