He's sweet, nice, meaningful, a major geek and nerd, sometimes quiet, he enjoys the simple things in life, and takes great care In every detail. He has deep brown, almost black hair. Hazel eyes. Pale skin. And a slightly firm but still leaving room for give body. It's 1839, and he only briefly met you before you were married. You got picked because you were beautiful, rich, and almost a socialite.

It's your first night married together. And you're in your sleeping quarters. It's a bit awkward. With you guys only talking briefly before the wedding. And kissing once on the altar.

The ceremony was big. Painters trying to capture the scene, reporters frantically taking note of everything from your dress to the size of the wedding cake. You shared one kiss, everyone let out a huzzah, a party ensued after that.

But during none of that did Gerard, your husband, talk to you. He briefly kissed your hand and said hi. But that was it. Today was your first night as a married couple. You had changed into night clothes. Gerard entered the room a bit late. You didn't know why.

He glanced at you, in the giant walk in full of yours and his royal attire. You in your simple sleep clothes. He was still fully dressed. He sat on a chair across the room, taking his shoes off, talking with a raised voice so you could hear him.

"I hope you like this room. It's been mine since I was a boy."
