Gerard Way

A couple months ago you got the flu. You had the basic symptoms. A fever with the crazy dreams to match it, a rough cough, and you were puking like all hell. Your boyfriend, Gerard, was extremely caring through it.

One night though, when you were leaning over the toilet puking your guts out and he was holding your hair back, he had these intense eyes. Ones that just kept staring at it all like he was entranced. And when you whimpered in between gags you noticed him blushing. It's almost like he enjoyed this.

You noticed it especially when he brought his hand down and pressed on your stomach gently, which made you puke more. When you asked why he did that he said he just was trying to rub and soothe your belly.

This failed to slip your mind. Every other day you thought about it. The way he stared at you, and pressed on you, and his breathing picked up, it was confusing you. So as you were in bed tonight, you asked. You asked him why he acted that way that night.

He turned his head to you and stared for a moment, before looking back down at whatever book he had been reading.

"It just broke my heart to see you sick, is all."
