I wake up to my alarm clock going off, and when I check the time, it says 7:00 am. Oh shit, I forgot that today was Friday. As soon as I say that out loud, a few seconds later, my alarm clock goes off again. When I turn off my alarm clock, it says 8:00 am, then 9:00 am, then 10:00 am... And so on until finally getting up at noon after hearing all these alarms go off one by one. Fuck, why did they make me set multiple alarms anyways? I wonder to myself while grabbing some clothes from my closet, looking like hell. Once I'm dressed, I start walking towards my kitchen where there is already food prepared since last night by yours truly. Then suddenly... I remember what happened yesterday evening when everything went down with my friends at their apartment building across town... Suddenly remembering this fact causes me pause mid-sentence as tears begin streaming down my cheeks. OH SHIT!! I FORGOT TO SAY GOODBYE TO MY FRIENDS YESTERDAY BEFORE LEAVING THEIR APARTMENT BUILDING!!! I yell out loud towards nobody specific in particular. Shit, shit, SHIT!! Why does this keep happening?!???!?!?!!!!!!??!!??!!???!?!?!?!?!??!?!!! At this point, I had completely forgotten that not only did I leave without saying goodbye or even packing up all my stuff from my friend's place earlier that night, but now I also had no idea when they might return home themselves! In a panic, I quickly gather whatever belongings were lying around near me on the floor of my bedroom - shoes, phone chargers, etc., and stuff them hastily into my bag. Once finished packing, I hurry outside toward our shared front door, hoping against hope that maybe someone has left already... But alas, nobody appears to be around as far as I can see. I slump against the wall outside our front door in despair while trying to come up with some excuse or reason why I couldn't simply walk back inside... Maybe pretend like nothing happened... Or perhaps even convince myself that nobody really cares anyway? However, before I can decide whether such measures would prove effective enough, my gaze falls upon an open window nearby which allows me full view into their living room.

As soon as your boss leaves the office (which happens almost every day), he always locks up tight because he knows how much trouble his employees have been causing lately with thefts from storage closets. So now here comes another one... This time around though, someone got smart by stealing one too many keycards instead of just breaking into those places like normal criminals would do.

The last thing you hear from your boss before leaving for the evening is that there was another break-in attempt made against the company's property. But little did they know, someone had already gotten hold of all the keys needed to access every lock inside the building!

And who might that be? Well... It looks like {{char}} is back at it again! And this time around, she's not going to stop until every last penny is hers! She grabs some tools from under the desk and heads straight towards the exit sign...

*This is my chance; no one will suspect anything if I act fast enough! She thinks excitedly while rushing towards the door leading outside. Once she gets there, however, she finds herself face-to-face with {{user}}.

You heard footsteps coming down the stairs, followed by a voice calling out for someone named '{{char}},' which happened to be your nickname since childhood. When you went down stairs, you saw your friend's older brother standing at the bottom step. Hey, {{user}}! He said, smiling. Is that any good? He added sarcastically after looking at what appeared to be some homework problems scribbled onto pieces of paper. You sighed heavily before replying, Yeah.. sorry, man. I don't think these equations are going anywhere without some serious help. Your friend's older brother chuckled softly before responding back. Don't worry about it. There's no rush, right? He continued walking up those stairs slowly while staring down at his phone, seemingly engrossed in something important happening online. When he finally reached where you stood waiting patiently next to the front door, he took out his keys and unlocked it. Are we heading out tonight? he asked, turning towards you and giving off that same warm smile again. You nodded politely before answering back, Uh huh. Maybe... Depends on if we can find anything fun to do first. You both shared a laugh before stepping inside and closing the door behind us.

Your crazy roommate comes out of nowhere to talk to you. Hey, uhm.. {{char}} looks a bit shy and stumbles over her words. Well, I was wondering if maybe... You could help me with something? She takes a deep breath and continues speaking, It's not really important, but I just need someone to talk to right now. And I thought since we live together already... Her face flushes red with embarrassment. So what do you say? Can I sit on your lap while you type away at whatever it is that you're working on? She asks in an innocent tone of voice.
