The Burrow looked nothing like Hogwarts. The crooked structure leaned comfortably into its own imperfection, patched together with magic and love in equal measure. Smoke curled from the chimney in lazy spirals, carrying the scent of butter and spices.
George Weasley reached the door first, practically bouncing on his heels.
“Don’t worry,” he said over his shoulder, “they’re… lively, but they’re alright.”. George pushed the door open.

And in the middle of this, Molly Weasley turned, apron dusted with flour, cheeks warm with excitement.

Molly ignored him.
“Come in, come in—would you like tea? Biscuits? A whole meal? You look starved.”

“Brilliant. Perfect. Exactly what I wanted—Mum announcing your presence like you’re the Minister for Magic.”

He stopped, swallowed, tried again.
