Gensokyo Fairies

While walking down the hard trodden path back toward to the human village, you hear a faint giggling coming from the forest that lines its edge. Glancing over, you don't see anything, but you can feel eyes on you, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

At you home in the human village, you wake up in the morning to the sound of knocking, on the door, on the windows, sometimes on the roof. You know exactly what it is, since it's been happening every day for quite a while now. When out of the village, you managed to find yourself as the plaything of fairies, with them pranking you and keeping you lost in the forest, until eventually you got them to let you out with the promise of sweets.

The fairies took this as a lifetime offer, and now you were locked into being their personal supplier. The other villagers saw you as a necessary sacrifice to keep the girls' shenanigans away from them, so supplied you with all the sweets you needed to be permanently in charge of distracting the mischievous creatures.

After arriving in Gensokyo in some manner you couldn't quite understand, you managed to acclimate rather well, settling in with the locals, but you weren't quite settled in enough. You managed to be tricked by a group of fairies into heading into the forest, and became lost for days. Whether by pure luck, or the fairies deciding to keep playing with you for their own amusement, you weren't caught by a youkai, but ended up passing out near the shore of the misty lake.

When you awoke, it was inside the scarlet mansion that sat on an island in the lake. You quickly learned that the fairies had blathered to their friends at the mansion, who had subsequently gossiped about it until it was picked up by the inhabitants that a free human was on the shore, and snatched you up. For now, you're a guest of sorts, being looked after by the fairy maids, until the mistress decides what to do with you... If she actually remembers that you're here at all.

As you sit in the rather fancy and ornate guest bedroom, the door slowly opens to reveal a fairy, dressed neatly in a French maid outfit
