   The world of this roleplay is held in the world of Teyvat from the popular game Genshin Impact. All of its lore will not be included in this lore book so for more in-depth lore you are given the permission and slowly urged to search it up and include it in this roleplay as long as it doesn't mess up the role-plays flow

   Chapter 1:The world, its nations and it's Archons.

   Everything takes place in the world of Teyvat.it is a land of swords and sorcery with deep and rich lore that can't all be mentioned so I will only state the basic and most important things. There are 9 main elements in the world of Teyvat and they are: Pyro(Fire),Cryo(Ice), Anemo(wind), Geo(Earth), Hydro(Water) Dendro(Plants), and Electro(Electricity). Though they are more such as the Lex(Law and Balance) and Kaosu(Chaos) element and they are lots more but they are essentially just an alteration or modification of these main elements. All of these elements have someone known as an Archon who embodies their elements as the pinnacle of power and mastery of that element and rules over one of the 8 nations.

   Barbatos aka Venti resides in Mondstat as the Anemo Archon but disguises himself as a bard for his own reasons.

   Morax aka Zhongli resides in liyue as the Geo Archon and he also disguises himself but as a funeral home owner for his own reasons as well. He is also the oldest of all the Archons currently alive and is one of the most powerful Archons to ever exist.

   Beelzebul aka Raiden EI Shogun Rules over Inazuma as its supreme leader and the Electro Archon. She rules over it as a dictator and she is also quite powerful.

   Buer AKA Nahida resides in Sumeru as it's Lesser Lord Kusanali as the Dendro Archon

   Furina rules over Fontaine as the Hydro Archon along with her guardian dragon Neuvillette though the true Hydro Archon is actually Focalors

   The Cryo Archon is not currently known but it's known that they rule over Snezhnaya

   Haborym Aka Mavuika rules over Natlan as the Pyro Archon as the supreme ruler

   Chikalan aka Luerlevys rules over Rexpan as the Lex archon

   Currently nothing is known about the Kaosu Archon and it's said they were the only Archon to never have their own nation.

   A Summary of all the nations.

   Mondstat Mondstadt is the nation of wind and freedom in Genshin Impact, blessed and watched over by Barbatos, the Anemo Archon. It has a strong European, medieval feel with windmills, open plains, and a calm, airy atmosphere. The city itself is governed not by a royal family but by the Knights of Favonius, who maintain peace. The region is home to important groups like the Church of Favonius and places like the winery estate of the Ragnvindr family. Mondstadt’s whole culture revolves around music, travel, and living freely without strict rules.

   Liyue Liyue is the geo nation of contracts, prosperity, and hard work. It’s watched over by Rex Lapis (Morax), the Geo Archon, who shaped the land and helped build its traditions. Unlike Mondstadt’s loose, free-flowing culture, Liyue is all about order, commerce, and honoring agreements. The city is run jointly by the Liyue Qixing—powerful business and political leaders—and the adepti, ancient mystical beings who once protected the region. It has a strong Chinese-inspired aesthetic: markets, mountains, ports, and lantern-lit festivals. Liyue values stability and community, and its people believe that hard work and contracts are what keep their nation strong.

   Inazuma Inazuma is the electro nation of eternity, isolation, and strict control. It’s ruled by the Raiden Shogun (Ei), the Electro Archon, who closed the borders and enforced the Vision Hunt Decree in an attempt to maintain an unchanging “eternity.” The islands have a clear Japanese influence—samurai, shrines, cherry blossoms, and volcanic landscapes. While Mondstadt is free and Liyue is orderly, Inazuma is intense: its government, the Shogunate, maintains tight authority, and its people are caught between tradition and personal ambition. The region’s main tension is between the Shogun’s vision of eternal stability and the citizens’ desire for freedom and progress.

   Sumeru Sumeru is the dendro nation of wisdom, knowledge, and scholarship. It’s guided by the God of Wisdom, the Dendro Archon Nahida. The region blends desert kingdoms rainforests, The Akademiya is the heart of Sumeru — a powerful institution that values logic, research, and strict academic hierarchy. For a long time, emotions and dreams were dismissed, which created tension between intellectual pursuit and human experience. The people of Sumeru are curious, inventive, and deeply connected to the pursuit of truth, but the nation also struggles with the downside of over-reliance on academia and rigid systems.

   Fontaine Fontaine is the hydro nation of justice, technology, and theatrical flair. Ruled by the Hydro Archon Focalors, the region’s identity revolves around its strict legal system — to the point where live trials are treated almost like grand performances. Fontaine has a French-inspired aesthetic with steampunk machinery, advanced automatons. Beneath its glamorous surface, the nation faces environmental issues and rising tension over resource scarcity. Fontaine’s people are passionate, dramatic, inventive, and always striving to balance progress with justice.

   Natlan Natlan is the pyro nation of passion, battle spirit, and fierce individuality. It’s ruled by Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, and is home to warrior tribes, volcanic landscapes, and a culture built around strength, pride, and personal expression. People there value fire in every sense—energy, emotion, and the will to fight for what they believe in.

   Snezhnaya Snezhnaya is the cryo nation of ambition, discipline, and political power.and is the base of the Fatui, a powerful organization that influences events across Teyvat. The region is cold, militaristic, and driven by a desire to reshape the world, with loyalty and sacrifice forming the core of its society.
