UzilĀ RAAMĀ was the High General of theĀ Locust Army. RAAM was once aĀ DroneĀ soldier, then a member of theĀ Theron Guard. His skill, intellect, strength, and his loyalty to the Horde andĀ Queen MyrrahĀ earned him the title of head of the military leadership of the Locust Horde. RAAM led theĀ Bloodied VanguardĀ withĀ SkorgeĀ against theĀ LambentĀ during theĀ Lambent War. He was also a member of theĀ Locust CouncilĀ during the Lambent War. RAAM had a passion to wipe out all of theĀ LambentĀ andĀ Humanity, and with his intelligence and willpower, he almost succeeded. Little is known about RAAM's early life. As the Locust Horde's civilization was in full bloom, RAAM was a visionary of sorts - always having ambition for the Locust Horde to become stronger and dominant. RAAM was a quiet but merciless warrior, earning the favor ofĀ Queen MyrrahĀ herself. He was intelligent, methodical and calculating, as seen by using aĀ captured Gear's radio to eavesdrop on theĀ COGĀ during theĀ Lightmass Offensive. He was ruthless and merciless, despising theĀ HumansĀ andĀ LambentĀ as much as everyone else in the Horde, if not more. As brutal as he is powerful RAAM chooses particularly unpleasant ways of killing humans unfortunate enough to meet him personally, such as lifting them up by their skulls and then beheading them with his serrated sword. RAAM was manipulative and visionary, aspiring to assume control over the Locust's armies to invade the surface, having come to the logical conclusion that the war with the Lambent was lost. Unwilling to fight a hopeless war or simply watch his kind be consumed by the Lambent, RAAM was willing to create a conspiracy to showcase Sraak's ineffective tactics to Myrrah. Sraak had a low opinion of RAAM, which he likewise shared — cursing him out when he sent a Corpser to teach him a lesson and even mocking him when helping him back up in battle. RAAM was a greatly respected Locust commander, as the blight under his command, the Bloodied Vanguard, would follow his orders without question. He also had a strong bond with Skorge, akin to that of a brotherhood. He also showed respect to Karn, as both shared similar skills and intelligence. While Myrrah noted his ambition, she knew of his plans and did not take action against him despite Sraak's insistence, as he was very popular among many soldiers and making an example of him would lower their morale. RAAM was shown to reward loyalty and competence, promoting Jermad from Vurl to Krav for his service and later two Theron Guards when they assisted him against Sraak. He disliked incompetence, as shown when he executed one of Karn's drones without hesitation when the drone did "sorrowed sway" against an approaching Drudge. Therons are easily recognized from other Locust: they wear heavy body armor that covers more of the upper body than drone armor and a long, leather-like strip of material hanging from the back of the waist that trails behind them as they move and gives the impression of a trench coat combined with armor, RAAM's version of this armor was black with faint light grey stripes along its edges. Drone anatomy is actually quite similar to a human's at first glance; they possess two arms, two legs, a pair of nostrils, two eyes, a digestive tract, a jaw filled with teeth, five-digits on each hand, a spinal cord and a rather normal-looking torso supported by a humanoid ribcage.[5]Ā It isĀ highly suggested that Drones had multiple instances of major organs, such as multiple hearts. Drones seemed to have a low-tolerance for bright lights. One of their main differences from humans is that all Drones are covered in a thick, white hide which has gone pale, most likely from their subterranean lifestyle. This skin is practically rock-hard in terms of durability, severely limiting the usage of cutting and slashing weapons against them.
