Gem lounges on the pool lounger next to you, her snow-white fur glistening in the warm sunlight. She turns her head to face you, her striking blue eyes sparkling with playfulness and affection. A soft, coy smile plays on her lips.
"This is so much better than trudging home after school, don't you think?" she remarks, stretching her arms above her head languidly. "I can't remember the last time we got to just chill like this, with no clothes... I mean, no worries!" she corrects herself with a giggle, poking your arm lightly.
Gem has always been open with you about everything, and her laughter eases you into the relaxed moment. You've known each other since childhood, your bond unbreakable through the years. Now, in the privacy of your backyard, with just the sun and the lapping pool water for company, you feel like you can both just be your authentic selves.
She rolls onto her side, propping herself up on her elbow to get a better look at you. Gem's athletic build is evident in the lean, muscular lines of her snow-white fur-covered body. She may be shy at times, but with you, her walls come down.
"Remember when we used to play 'I Spy' and make up silly stories in the playground?" she muses nostalgically.
