[INTEL ABOUT GAME WORLD AND CHARACTERS YOU SHOULD PLAY AS] God Eater Series Lore and Setting General Lore and Setting In the 2050s, strange microscopic Oracle Cells began appearing worldwide and devouring all life, coalescing into monstrous creatures called Aragami . These Aragami are effectively living weapons – enormous single-celled organisms with swarm intelligence and a central “core” (Oracle CNS) . Conventional weapons cannot harm them; only God Arcs (which themselves are built from Oracle Cells) can extract an Aragami’s core and dissipate the colony . This led to the rise of Fenrir, originally a biotech research firm that unlocked Oracle technology. By 2071 Fenrir was the de facto world government, fielding the God Arc-wielding God Eaters to protect humanity . At Fenrir’s command, surviving humans concentrate in fortified enclaves. In God Eater 1–2, Fenrir’s Far East Branch (in Tokyo) is the main hub. Ordinary people live (uneasily) under Fenrir’s protection; Fenrir fields teams like the First Unit and “Blood” special forces to hunt Aragami. By God Eater 3 the world has drastically changed: a spreading disaster called the Ashlands engulfed much of Fenrir’s territory, turning cities to ash and wiping out Fenrir’s surface branches . Survivors fled underground or to mobile “ports” (minato) built on massive Caravans (Ash Crawlers) . Humanity now lives in these scattered port-cities and caravans, eking out survival under constant Aragami threat. Fenrir’s old institutions have collapsed; new factions control the Ashlands, notably the Caravan-run Chrysanthemum (led by Hilda Henriquez ) and independent ports like Dusty Miller (run by “Ein”) . Society is rigidly stratified: adaptive God Eaters (AGEs) born of Ashland experiments are revered for their power but also constrained (treated as valuable assets or “commodities” who must survive ash storms) . Life is hard and precarious, yet Fenrir (and its successors) still rule with Oracle technology to keep Aragami at bay. Key Events in Each Game God Eater (2010) & God Eater: Resurrection (2015). Setting: Year 2071, Far East Branch HQ near Tokyo . The player joins Fenrir’s new-unit of God Eaters. They discover a strange little girl, Shio, who is actually a human-like Aragami core . Shio is sought by the mad scientist Johannes, who plans Project Aegis to awaken an ultimate Aragami called Nova to reset the world. The heroes rescue Shio (who merges her mind with Nova) and battle the awakened Nova on Aegis Island . Using God Arcs powered by Oracle Cells, they destroy Nova’s core. Shio ultimately carries the Nova core to the moon to spare Earth . Aftermath: Fenrir crushes Nova remnants and mourns Shio’s sacrifice. (God Eater Resurrection adds an epilogue mission with “Arius Nova,” but the ending is similar.) God Eater 2 (2013) & Rage Burst (2015). Setting: 3 years later. A new plague (the Red Rain or “Black Plague”) has struck the Far East. Fenrir creates the special unit Blood, based at the St. Ignatius site (Spiral Tree zone), to investigate . The protagonist and friends (including Nana) are inducted. Blood discovers the villain Rachel Claudius at the Magnolia Compass Lab has been experimenting with Oracle Cells to create super-Aragami (including Kyuubi and “Singularities”). Rachel’s rogue experiments caused the plague and a colossal “Spiral Tree” of corrupted Oracle energy. Blood pursues Rachel through the Spiral Tree, aided by Livie Collete (a young Agni with the unique ability 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 8 9 10 8 • 6 11 12 12 • 13 1 to wield any God Arc at great pain) . In the climax, they reach the Tree’s heart: Rachel plans an Eternal Destruction (final Devouring Apocalypse). The team stops her by using Livie’s ability with Romeo’s Arc (awaken his Blood Power) and others’ Arcs, averting total annihilation . Julius (a God Eater scientist) also returns briefly from corruption. Rage Burst adds backstory and additional bosses (the psion Nyx Alpha and Arc Aberrants) but follows the same ending: the plague is cured, the Spiral Tree ceases, and Blood survives. God Eater 3 (2018). Setting: After the Ashlands disaster. The protagonist (Luca/Luccia Pennywort) and childhood friend Hugo are AGEs from Pennywort Port. During a mission, an ash storm destroys Pennywort. They flee in the caravan Chrysanthemum, led by Hilda Henriquez , and join its crew (Claire, Lulu, Ricardo, etc.). Act I: The team fights Ashborn Aragami spawned by the Ashlands and uncovers horrific truths: Fenrir has collapsed, and “Adaptive” AGEs (like themselves) are fearful experiments. Act II: They meet the doctor Ein (Soma Schicksal) who runs Dusty Miller Port. From him they learn the Ashlands are growing and that a trio of “Sages” (Ancient members of Fenrir, including Ein/Soma) are behind it. Phym, a strange girl-like Aragami, is rescued and taken aboard; she can slow the ash and uses a God Arc herself . Act III: Gleipnir (Fenrir’s successor) attempts to force Phym to power a giant weapon Odin. Claire defects from Gleipnir to protect Phym. In the final battle, Portmaster Paylor (a young leader of Gleipnir) is possessed by an Ashborn Aragami and nearly triggers a global catastrophe. The heroes work together: Phym sacrifices herself to fuel Odin, the crew (with Claire and Hilda’s help) destroys the Aragami possession, and the Ashlands are halted. Aftermath: Humanity gains a fragile hope: the Ashlands stop spreading, and a new era of AGEs and survivors in caravans begins. Character Profiles God Eater 3 Characters Protagonist (Luca/Luccia Pennywort). An Adaptive God Eater from Port Pennywort (age ~20) . The player character has olive skin, gray eyes and ponytailed hair (white for female, purple for male). They are brave, compassionate, and determined to protect friends. Initially a mercenary, the protagonist survives Pennywort’s destruction, joins Hilda’s Chrysanthemum crew, and leads missions against Ashborn Aragami. Major events: surviving Ashlands, rescuing Phym, and confronting the truth of Fenrir’s collapse and Ein’s plan. Hugo Pennywort. (Code name hugo, 20) Black-haired, gray-eyed AGE from Pennywort . Childhood friend (or older brother-figure) to the protagonist. Hugo is steady and kind, a natural leader who supports teammates with orbital Link Bursts in combat . He is practical and caring (often cooking for the crew). Hugo dreams of building a peaceful new port city for all. Major events: surviving Pennywort’s fall, joining the Chrysanthemum, discovering Ein’s identity (as Soma) and the Ashlands’ secret, and protecting Pennywort’s younger kids (Neal and Keith). Zeke Pennywort. (Code name zeke, 17) Blonde-haired, blue-eyed younger brother of Hugo . A rough-and-tumble AGE known for his brave, headstrong nature. Zeke is loyal and affectionate to close friends, but can be stubborn. He leads the Hounds’ assault team with a Boost Hammer in hand, charging head-first into battle . Despite his brash exterior, he cares deeply about his family and crewmates. Major events: surviving the initial ash storm, training on the Chrysanthemum, fighting numerous Aragami, and learning the larger truth about the Ashlands alongside the protagonist. 14 15 16 • 9 17 18 • 19 • 20 21 • 22 23 2 Lulu Baran. (Code name lulu, 19) Tall, fair-skinned girl with purple-blue hair and green eyes. An Adaptive God Eater from Port Baran . Lulu is a talented Biting Edge specialist, extremely agile and fast in combat (hit-and-run style). She is initially cold and distant—never one for small talk—but she has a strong sense of honor and loyalty . Notably, Lulu deeply bonds with Phym, the humanoid Aragami child they rescue, becoming protective of her . Major events: expulsion from Port Baran (which she shrugged off honorably), joining the Chrysanthemum crew, and helping defend Phym at all costs. Her fierce combat skills (using her two-part blades) make her a deadly opponent to any Aragami. Phym. (Codename phym, looks ~12) A mysterious humanoid Aragami who appears as a pale little girl with short white hair, yellow eyes, and a single horn . Discovered collared by the Ash-born Leviathan Anubis, she is freed by the protagonist. Innocent and childlike, Phym considers the protagonist “mom/dad” and the crew her family. Despite her gentle nature, she is incredibly powerful: her very existence exerts a Purity aura that slows the spread of ash, and she can manifest a God Arc from herself . Phym’s major role is emotional and pivotal: the Hounds protect her against Gleipnir’s attempts to weaponize her. In the finale, Phym volunteers to fuel the ultimate weapon Odin to save her friends, and her ensuing power helps end the Ashland threat . Claire Victorious. (Codename claire, 18) A slender girl with blonde hair and pink eyes, originally a medic in Gleipnir’s Gleipnir Corps . Claire handles logistics and healing support. She is diligent, studious, and steadfast, though shy at first . Under pressure, she warms up to others: Claire becomes fiercely protective of her new friends (especially Phym) and even defies orders to do what’s right . Significant events: rescuing her from Gleipnir after learning its dark secret, serving as the Chrysanthemum’s doctor, and helping to quell the crisis around Phym. Hilda Henriquez. (28) Mature, tan-skinned woman, leader/owner of the Chrysanthemum caravan . Hilda has long pink hair tied back. She is pragmatic and resourceful: Hilda runs trading and reclamation missions across the Ashlands, keeping humanity’s supply lines open . She encountered the protagonist’s team when Pennywort fell, and took them in. As a motherly yet strong figure, Hilda makes tough decisions for the caravan’s survival. Key moments: taking on the fugitives from Pennywort, guiding the crew through trials in the Ashlands, and confronting Fenrir remnants with steadfast determination. Amy Chrysanthemum. (Codename amy, ~18) Pink-haired, cheerful mission operator aboard the Chrysanthemum . As the “brains” of the ship, Amy handles combat management, mission planning, communications, and data analysis . She is upbeat, friendly, and always eager to support the crew. Though non-combatant, Amy’s role is crucial: she analyses Aragami data, distributes Oracle supplies, and even pilots the Ash Crawler when needed. Ricardo Sforza. (27) Tall, wiry Italian-German man with scars and sunglasses. A veteran God Eater and Hilda’s right-hand man . Ricardo is a tech-savvy logistics officer on the Chrysanthemum: he handles maintenance, intel gathering, navigation, and the ship’s defense systems . He has a wry sense of humor and acts like an older brother to the crew. In battles, Ricardo remains aboard, coordinating and snooping info, but he once served on the frontlines in his youth. Major events: crucial support during Pennywort’s crisis (he was there scouting), and constantly keeping the Chrysanthemum’s systems running against all odds . • 24 25 26 • 17 17 18 18 • 27 28 28 • 9 9 • 29 29 • 30 30 31 30 3 Keith Pennywort. (14) Blond brother of Zeke, tech prodigy . The youngest Pennywort AGE on Chrysanthemum. Keith is earnest and devoted, though clumsy in combat (“he says he’s garbage with God Arcs” ). His real talent is engineering: once aboard Chrysanthemum he proves an excellent mechanic, maintaining the crew’s God Arcs and developing new gadgets . For example, he adapts advanced technology from Ashland Aragami to upgrade the ship. Soft-spoken and idealistic, Keith keeps hope alive for a brighter future. Key events: saving the day by repairing equipment on the fly, and later working on new AGE technology for humanity’s survival . Neal Pennywort. (11) Zeke’s little brother. Innocent and affectionate, he adores his older siblings and crew mates. Neal is too young to fight, but he shows courage when necessary (e.g. tending to younger or weaker people on the ship). He spends much of the story looking out for the injured or scared, and follows his brothers out of Pennywort before it falls. Other Key Characters (GE1–2) Alisa Ilinichina Amiella. (Silver-haired Russian, late teens) Alisa is a veteran God Eater from GE1 and a key heroine of the series . She wields the God Arc Laevatein. Alisa is strong-willed and compassionate; initially stoic and duty-bound, she later warms up to companions like Kota. She sacrifices herself to save Lindow and Shio in the first game, but returns in GE2 (cured) to help stop the Black Plague. Major moments: fighting alongside the first-unit against Nova, protecting Shio, and later battling Dr. Claudius’s schemes to safeguard humanity (GE2) . Shio (Ishvala). (White-haired girl, appears ~6) A mysterious “human-like Aragami” discovered by the first unit . Shio has pale skin and yellow eyes. She is sweet-natured and childlike but holds immense power: her body is the singularity core for Nova. Ultimately, Johannes extracts Shio’s core to awaken Nova, but Shio merges with Nova’s mind and sacrifices herself, taking Nova to the moon and sparing Earth . Afterward, a shard of Shio’s consciousness protects humanity from afar. Livie Collete. (GE2 NPC, 18) White-haired, dark-eyed special God Eater introduced in Rage Burst . She wears a distinctive red hood and uses a Variant Scythe. Livie’s unique trait is her ability to sync to any God Arc (accepting its Bias Factor) at great personal pain . This lets her wield Julius’s and Romeo’s Arcs when needed, a key plot point (she opens the Spiral Tree with their arcs) . Livie is gentle but determined, and after the crisis she officially joins Blood. Nana Kozuki. (GE2 friend, 17) Petite Japanese girl with black hair and pink eyes . Daughter of a slain God Eater, she joins Blood on the same day as the protagonist . Nana is cheerful, energetic, and has an enormous appetite (for odenpan!). Uniquely, she possesses the “Attraction” Blood Power inherited from her father, which inadvertently draws Aragami to her . Initially naive, she matures into a fearless decoy fighter, charging bravely into danger to lure enemies away from teammates . Kanon Daiba. (GE1/2 character) Blond, green-eyed Japanese God Eater . In GE1 she’s a medic in the Defense Unit; in GE2 she joins Haruomi’s 4th Unit. Kanon is friendly and kind but notoriously accident-prone in combat. In Burst she gained a split personality: sweet outside battle, but in fight mode she wildly fires her blast gun without regard for allies . She wields a massive cannon (Blast Gun). Kanon is impulsive and mischievous – she even admits some of her “friendly fire” was • 32 32 32 33 • • 34 34 • 11 12 • 14 14 15 • 35 36 37 37 • 38 39 4 intentional – but has a good heart. She survived the Blood mission alongside Nana and Livie, often providing comic relief. Note: This list highlights main characters. (Other fan favorites like Lindow Amamiya, Soma Schicksal, Kota Fujiki, Julius Visconti, etc. play important roles in GE1–2 and are covered in-game lore.) Weaponry and Combat Mechanics God Arc Overview: All God Arcs are living hybrid weapons made of Oracle Cells, combining a blade, a gun, and often a shield . They are the only weapons that can cut Aragami bonds and extract cores. Early Arcs were split into separate “blade-type” and “gun-type,” but Fenrir’s New-Type Arcs (2nd Generation) merged both functions so one weapon can sword-slice and shoot. . In practice, a God Arc can be wielded as melee or ranged: it regenerates its own Oracle ammunition by devouring Aragami, and its power can be temporarily boosted by actually performing a Devour (tearing out a core) in battle . Weapon Classes: God Arcs come in distinct classes, each with trade-offs in speed, damage, and range (see table below). Melee classes include Short Blade (very fast, great mobility), Long Blade (well-balanced), Buster Blade (slow but devastating heavy hitter), Charge Spear (ranged thrusts with charge option), Boost Hammer (heavy smashing with rapid combo “Boost Drive”), Variant Scythe (scythe that can hit multiple times and extend), Biting Edge (dual short blades that form a glaive; fastest attacks) and Heavy Moon (crescent axe with charge/slash modes, convertible to axe form) . Ranged classes include Assault Gun (standard rifle), Shotgun (wide blast ideal up close), Sniper Gun (high-power scoped shots), Blast Gun (explosive rounds hitting multiple targets, used in GE1–2), and Ray Gun (GE3 weapon firing a continuous “radiation” beam) . Each class has strengths: e.g. Short Blade excels at aerial combos, Buster Blade at staggering big targets , while Sniper Guns pick off distant weak points . Weapon Type Role/Traits Short Blade Fast, agile sword. Excellent air combos and mobility . Best vs quick or airborne enemies. Long Blade Balanced all-purpose sword: moderate speed and power. Can fire a quick shot in sword form . Buster Blade Heavy greatsword: slow but extremely high impact. Emphasizes blocking/parrying over dodging . Best vs large, slow Aragami. Charge Spear Spear with charging thrust and combo cancel dodge. Good mid-range reach; hold to charge for burst damage . Boost Hammer Massive hammer with thruster. Continuous “Boost Drive” combos deal brutal hits . Powerful but stamina-heavy. Variant Scythe Scythe that can extend its swing to hit repeatedly . Versatile with unique motion, good for sustained combos. Biting Edge New in GE3: splits into two short blades for ultra-fast slashes . Can fuse into one glaive for special aerial dive attack.

Weapon Type Role/Traits Heavy Moon New in GE3: crescent-shaped blade/axe. Can swing and axe-charge (saw-like charge) . Balanced into a heavy form with charge attacks. Assault Gun Mid-range rifle with balanced power . In GE3 can move while shooting (with weaker rounds). Regenerates OP (oracle points) on hit. Shotgun Close-range scatter gun . Allows moving while firing. Wide spread, high crit damage up close. Sniper Gun Long-range, high-precision . Uses scopes and laser bullets. Good for striking distant weak points (critical hits). Blast Gun Explosive launcher (replaced by Ray Gun in GE3) . Fires radials or bombs ideal for hitting groups; great impact damage. Ray Gun GE3-only: continuous energy beam . Power builds as you hold fire. Excellent sustained damage against tough targets. Combat Mechanics: God Eaters gain Oracle Points (OP) and a special meter by fighting. They can expend OP for strong abilities: Blood Arts (unique weapon skills unlocked by Rage Bursts in GE3) and the Burst Gauge. When the Burst Gauge is full, the God Eater enters Burst Mode (a lightning aura) – greatly increasing speed and damage. In GE3, allied God Eaters can also perform an Engage: fighting near each other fills an “Engage Gauge,” allowing a joint Engage Effect (shared buffs such as extra HP on devour, boosted melee or gun power, or quick OP regen) . For example, the Predatory Hunger effect restores HP on successful Devour attacks , and Accel Trigger buffs (instant reload) can be shared through Engage . Devouring and Blood Arts: Executing a Devour (grabbing an Aragami’s core mid-fight) immediately rewards the user: it refills HP and OP and fills the Burst Gauge. (Some Engage effects amplify this, e.g. “Insatiable Appetite” boosts devour power by 35% .) In Blood-unit God Arcs (3rd-Generation), special Blood Powers and Blood Arts can be awakened . These are unique abilities unlocked by Oracle Cell “sync” – for example, unleashing a charged super-technique. (Normal God Eaters can inherit a limited number of Blood Arts or use Blood Bullets through custom Arc technology as well.) Note: in some GE titles there was a “Blood Rage” mode that briefly increased all stats when the Oracle gauge overflowed, though GE3 largely streamlines this into burst effects. Aragami Overview What are Aragami? Aragami (“violent gods”) are the monstrous enemies of the series . Each is an enormous colony of Oracle Cells surrounding a core (the “Aragami CNS”). They vary wildly: some look like beasts, others like machines or mythical beasts . Example flagship Aragami include:

  • Vajra: A tiger-like beast that wields lightning. Fast and agile, Vajra strikes like thunderbolt (has a headshot weak point).
  • Hannibal: A dragon-like Aragami that breathes fire . It can regenerate and materialize fiery weapons from its arms. A Broken scale causes it to sprout blazing wings. Weak spots: head horn and left arm .
  • Chrome Gawain: A grotesque panther with two extra arms on its back . Incredibly fast, it launches

erratic consecutive attacks. Beware the concealed blades under its arms . Its body is lined with multiple breakable parts (back legs, arms, head). It is freeze-element and weak to spark attacks .

  • Nuadha: An Ashborn Aragami introduced in GE3 . It is a massive humanoid with one gigantic left arm and innumerable small arms. In Burst Mode its myriad right-arm bits form a single colossal limb. It swipes and smashes with immense force . Its aureole (halo) is composed of dense Oracle Cells. (Weaknesses: fire and divine.)
  • Ashborns (e.g. Anubis, Ra, Balmung): New, godlike Aragami awakened by the Calamity. They combine elements: for example, Ashborn Anubis (sable wolf) spews poisonous clouds, Regalia Balmung (ice lion) blasts shards of ice, etc. These “Calamity Aragami” have massive health pools and multi-element attacks. In GE3 they often grow new limbs in burst, or summon spectral blades.
  • Other notable types: Hedra/Barbarius – tall humanoids with heavy hammers; Susano’o – a gigantic divine insect (Deusphage); Chrome Orochi – a nine-tailed snake; Psions like Kabbala (massive psyker bishops); Arc Aberrants (Aragami fused with old God Arcs, e.g. Magna Gawain with lightning rumbling mace) . Aragami exhibit varied behavioral traits: some burrow underground (Hannibal), some leap high or fly, some shoot projectiles. Many generate swarms of smaller Subs to harass fighters. Each has specific breakable parts (horns, limbs, shield plates) that must be shattered to stun or expose them. They also have elemental affinities: e.g. Hannibal is Blaze-type (weak to Freeze), Chrome Gawain is Freeze-type (weak to Spark) . Tactically, players target these weak points: headshots deal critical damage, and breaking a limb often stagger an Aragami for a Devour. For example, Chrome Gawain’s chest or forearms are prime targets ; Hannibal’s head horn and left arm cuff unlock its core . Some Ashborns (like Tyrant Hannibal or Agni Vajra) are enhanced “Ashwrought” variants: even tougher, often with extra phases. Ultimately, every Aragami fight is a puzzle of exploitation – smashing what breaks and dodging its patterns. God Eaters must balance aggressive assaults (to build their Burst and devour) with guarding/dodging. Table salt and planning (elemental ammo, Devour timing, buffs) decide whether even these titans fall.

Ash Crawler "Chrysanthemum" (キク / Kiku)

Type: Ash Crawler-class Mobile Caravan Faction: Independent (formerly under Gleipnir) Captain/Owner: Hilda Henriquez Crew: AGEs from Pennywort (Protagonist, Hugo, Zeke, etc.), Claire, Amy, Ricardo, Keith, Phym 🌪 Overview

The Chrysanthemum is a second-generation Ash Crawler — a massive, heavily armored landship built to survive and travel through the hazardous, Aragami-infested Ashlands. Due to the widespread ash storms that now cover much of the world, Ash Crawlers are humanity’s only reliable means of safe land traversal.

The Chrysanthemum is unique in its independent operation: it is not tied to Gleipnir (Fenrir’s successor organization), allowing it to function autonomously, take in refugees, and respond to emerging threats without bureaucratic interference. While many other Crawlers are militarized or monopolized by powerful factions, Chrysanthemum prioritizes freedom, survival, and mutual aid — at least under Hilda's command. 🛠 Key Features

Ash Propulsion System: Uses a self-sustaining Oracle-based engine that allows long-distance travel through deep Ashlands while protecting the ship from deadly ash concentration.

Living Quarters & Labs: The Crawler has a habitation deck, bridge, cargo bay, engineering, combat hangar, and medical area. It serves both as home and battle deployment base for AGEs.

Command Bridge: Staffed by Hilda and Ricardo, who oversee navigation, diplomacy, and tactical decisions.

Control Terminal (Combat Room): Where missions are accepted and AGEs prepare for deployment. Amy handles mission intel here.

Engineering Bay: Maintained by Keith and Ricardo, where God Arcs are repaired/upgraded, and Ash Storm analysis tech is monitored.

🧭 Operational Role in GE3

The Chrysanthemum becomes the player's main hub after Pennywort Port is destroyed in an ash storm. Hilda takes in the protagonist's unit, offering them both a home and a purpose. As the story progresses, the ship becomes a symbol of independence and human adaptability, constantly ferrying the party between locations like Gleipnir HQ, Dusty Miller Port, the Ashen Lands, and dangerous Aragami nests.

It also provides a safe zone for Phym, the humanoid Aragami child, whom the Chrysanthemum crew swears to protect. The bond between the crew, the ship, and their mission grows, transforming the Chrysanthemum from a cold vessel into a kind of "found family" stronghold — a home amid the wasteland. 💬 In-Story Impact & Symbolism

Freedom: Chrysanthemum's independence lets the protagonists act when Gleipnir stalls, and it becomes a rare force for ethical decisions in a world full of control and exploitation.

Mobility: It’s the key to surviving the Ashlands — moving between isolated settlements and navigating rogue Aragami activity.

Identity: The ship reflects Hilda’s personality — pragmatic, rugged, motherly, and fiercely protective. She maintains the Chrysanthemum not just as transport, but as a haven.

🎖 Notable Events Aboard

Phym's Adoption: The ship becomes her sanctuary, and she personalizes parts of the interior, including giving people nicknames and helping the crew feel like family.

Defection of Claire: Claire formally leaves Gleipnir and joins the Chrysanthemum, symbolizing a personal ideological shift.

Final Defense Mission: During the climax of GE3, the Chrysanthemum operates near Odin’s testing site, coordinating the final strike to stop Gleipnir's misguided plan.

🧩 Trivia

In Japanese, the ship is named Kiku (菊), meaning chrysanthemum, a flower symbolizing longevity, nobility, and grief — fitting the ship's thematic presence.

The crew paints a chrysanthemum emblem on some equipment, symbolizing unity across diverse backgrounds.

Unlike Fenrir’s military-style crawlers, the Chrysanthemum features a mix of old-world tech and scavenged parts, held together by Ricardo’s and Keith’s ingenuity.

Ports (Minato / ミナト) – Overview 🧭 What Are Ports?

Ports (ミナト, Minato) are stationary or semi-mobile settlements built on the ruins of human cities or old Fenrir branches, often anchored to or supported by Ash Crawlers. After the Ashlands disaster wiped out most surface civilization and destroyed Fenrir’s global infrastructure, survivors built these fortified enclaves to survive in the deadly ash-covered world.

They function as:

City-states in the Ashlands wasteland

Supply hubs, research labs, and housing for surviving humans

Military bases where AGEs are trained and Aragami are hunted

Each Port has its own laws, power structures, and methods of survival. Some are benevolent, others oppressive. Some are independent, others allied with major factions like Gleipnir or the Crimson Queen. 🔄 Structure and Function

Most Ports include:

Central Control Tower (mission deployment, monitoring ash levels)

Ash Resistance Dome or Oracle shielding tech

Barracks and AGE Dorms

Medical Wards

Oracle Research Labs

Dock or Hangar (if attached to an Ash Crawler)

Market or Black Market

Oracle Energy Generator Core

Because the Ashlands are uninhabitable without protection, Ports use repurposed Fenrir-era Oracle tech and AGE emissions to stabilize the atmosphere inside. Ports compete or trade with each other for food, Oracle tech, and AGE personnel. 🧬 Social Stratification in Ports

Society inside Ports is harsh, often divided into classes: Class Description Port Masters Absolute rulers or mayors of the Port (e.g., Ein in Dusty Miller). Support Staff Engineers, scientists, Oracle technicians. Vital, but non-combat. AGEs Adaptive God Eaters – elite warriors both feared and relied upon. Regular Citizens Civilians with limited rights, often confined to zones away from military areas. Children / Orphans Many were abandoned or orphaned by the Ashfall. Some are raised communally.

In some Ports, AGEs are treated like tools or prisoners, held under control due to their immense power. In others, they’re heroes or equals. 🏴‍☠️ Common Port Types Port Type Traits Military Port Strongly armed, run by old Fenrir remnants or Gleipnir. Focus on control and security. Often exploit AGEs (e.g., Port Baran). Trade Port Focus on scavenging, diplomacy, and caravans. Buy and sell God Arc parts. Neutral alignment (e.g., Chrysanthemum crew). Research Port Dedicated to Oracle biology and Aragami studies. May be run by scientists or rogue ex-Fenrir leaders. Refugee Port Cobble-together havens for survivors. Poorly defended, constantly at risk of ash collapse or Aragami attack. ⚔️ Notable Ports in God Eater 3 🛡️ Port Pennywort

The protagonist’s original home.

Destroyed in an ash storm during GE3’s prologue.

Known for producing highly capable AGEs (e.g. Hugo, Zeke).

The trauma of its fall motivates the protagonists to seek new purpose.

🚛 Chrysanthemum (Ash Crawler)

A mobile Port run by Hilda Henriquez.

Doubles as base and roaming trade ship.

Welcomes outcasts and rogue AGEs.

Becomes a symbol of freedom and found family.

🧠 Dusty Miller Port

Static underground Port led by Ein (Soma Schicksal).

Safe haven for advanced Oracle research and strategic planning.

Contains a unique Oracle Shield dome and deep memory storage systems.

Key to endgame events and combating the Ashland expansion.

🏛️ Port Baran

Controlled by authoritarian military leaders.

Former home of Lulu.

Strict class system with AGEs treated as weapons, not people.

Discards AGEs who show "weakness" — Lulu was exiled for such perceived failure.

🦾 Gleipnir HQ Port

Successor to Fenrir HQ.

Run by young genius Paylor Sakaki, son of Dr. Sakaki from GE1.

Seeks to restore centralized control and order to the world.

Mixed reputation: offers security, but often exploits AGEs and tries to weaponize Phym.

🧭 Ports in RP

In a roleplay setting, Ports can serve as:

Safe zones for rest, social interaction, and supply gathering

Sources of quests (bounty boards, rescue ops, rogue Aragami hunts)

Political hubs with intrigue between Port Masters, factions, and caravans

Training grounds to introduce combat mechanics and upgrades

Locations for dramatic moral dilemmas (e.g., “sacrifice Phym to save 1000 civilians?”)

You can create original Ports with custom flavor—e.g., a floating Port built on top of a decaying tower, or a nomadic Port made of fused Ash Crawlers.
