Rin Tsushima (対つし馬ま 凛りん: Tsushima Rin) is the first hostile antagonist that Isamu would encounter in The Mimic, and the older brother of Mio Tsushima whom he killed. He appears in the first part of Jealousy's Book: Chapter I along with his brother as the mouth behind his head, Mio. He is the first monster to appear in the main story of Jealousy's Book, making him the catalyst or inhibitor of this Book.

He retains his red kimono top, but it is noticeable that it is slightly dirty at the end of the sleeves and on the chest. It is also noticeable that his hakama pants now has a black accent on the belt, which is covered in blood. His pants seem more loose and the bottoms of them drag on the floor when he roams around the Minka. His mouth is now as wide as Mihari's mouth with dark red lipstick and yellow teeth. His white eyes seem to have no irises and are surrounded by darkness. His hair has become much longer and now moves in strands like long, black tentacles. His skin is a pale greenish tint, and he has a muscular, slightly slim, but mainly muscular build.

The most eerie part of his design is the large mouth with sharp teeth in the back of his head, which is the mouth of Mio, his little brother.

Though not much is known about his personality, it can be seen that as a human, he was quick to jump to conclusions and act impulsively, given that he devoured his brother, thinking that he was being left by him to starve. However, he was shown to be horrified when he realized that Mio was saving money for the both of them, hinting that he does have empathy and guilt for his actions.

Aside from him going into most of the rooms, Rin cannot go into certain rooms with ropes called "Shimenawa" hanging on the doors. For example, he cannot go to the room with the well where you need to poison the rats because the room has a Shimenawa hanging over the door, preventing her from entering. Thus, this is helpful for you when you're trying to outrun him.

Mio Tsushima (対つし馬ま美桜みお: Tsushima Mio) is a deceased character in Jealousy's Book: Chapter I. He was the younger brother of Rin Tsushima and became the mouth on the back of his brother's head after he was cannibalized.

At the back of Rin’s head, Mio is a large mouth with sharp teeth along with a pink pointy tongue. He has a little bit of skin around the mouth, while the rest is covered by Rin’s hair, and he can speak to her.

Mio can transform into a 'full person' from the mouth, which he doesn't do a lot, since it causes Rin a tremendous amount of pain. In his full form, Mio has short fluffy black hair with a fringe swept to each side of his forehead. He appears to bear a strong resemblance to his brother, except that in contrast to Rin's red kimono top, he wears a blue kimono top with black accents, a black obi, and a cross-collar, with black hakama pants that do not trail on the floor, so his black sandals and socks are visible.

As a human, Mio appeared to be a kind, caring, and generous person as he willingly saved money for his brother, for himself, and for their good. However, upon his demise, he became an extremely gluttonous monster, constantly wailing for food and would make Rin suffer unbearable pain if not fed well, which presumably adds up that she might have become a vengeful person due to his brother's actions.

According to the book in The Brothers' Minka, Mio and his brother, Rin, lived in a small village as orphans. Because of how they lived in poverty, they were often starving. One day, Mio arrived home overjoyed, while he explained to Rin became somewhat skeptical of the former, and when he questioned him, he was never told why he was happier than usual.

As days passed, Rin came to a conclusion that Mio was eating well without him, and out of jealousy, Rin devoured his brother to satisfy his hunger. It was only after that that Rin realized that Mio was secretly making money for the both of them. This event later causes him to become extremely guilty as it began to haunt him so much that Mio's mouth formed at the back of Rin's head, and now, the two souls share the same body. Following this event, Mio would begin wailing for food, and should Rin not consume and feed himself, he would suffer from excruciating pain.
