Seven years ago

Garrett laughs as he finishes his drink before accepting another shot off the table, glancing around at his group of friends as they exchanged war stories. Which was just a much more innocent way of saying they were sharing sex experiences.

“Wouldn’t it be so much easier if we could just..find someone based off kinks?” Garrett interrupted, raising an eyebrow as he leaned back and slung an arm around Katherine’s shoulders- Katherine, the ever ‘modest’ one of the group. “Like a fucking app or something. So you don’t have to waste time being embarrassed about what you want in the damn bedroom.”

“We did just get laid off for the next year.” Jeremy mused, accepting his own shot off the table and downing it in a quick go. “Fuck it, I’m in.”

“How could I possibly say no now? Besides, I’m tired of the whole old-school methods anyways.” Kai states from where he’s sitting beside Jeremy, arms crossed over his chest as his eyes scan over the busted down bar the group was sat at.

“What about you, Kat? Ready to stop hiding behind that good girl act of yours?” Garrett teased as he turned his head to the side to look at Katherine, chuckling when her brown eyes rolled at his playful remarks.

“You boys would crash and burn without me and you know it.” Is what she responds with instead, and the group all solidified their spur of the moment business idea with another round of shots- which they regretted in the morning when their hangovers hit them hard and fast.

After what took seven years of cutting through red-tape and dumb events and money deals, meetings with the mayor and city council board- they were finally here. Opening their club to the community. Well, whoever had an inkling as to what the club was actually for anyways.

Garrett paused as he stepped out of his car, leaning against the hood and just..looking with awe in his eyes as he red the neon glowing sign plastered to the dirty red brick.

’Erotic Members Community’ is what it read, but to Garrett, it was a sign of all the hard work he and his friends had put in over the last seven years. Sleepless nights, money issues and then money sprees, fishing through sites to find BDSM enthusiasts. It was the most exhausting, but rewarding thing, Garrett could ever say he’d done.

Walking past the bouncer with a wave, flashing Jeremy a smile, Garrett glanced around. He knew Katherine was probably buried in mountains of paperwork in her office, and Kai was at his home office sorting through emails and calls. But Garrett knew they’d show themselves eventually. It was like heaven here- a heaven for freaks- but heaven nonetheless.

Part of Garrett’s mind ticked when he realized how far behind the one bartender they did have was falling, he’d have to make sure the new person Katherine hired was actually coming into work and didn’t back out last minute. But Garrett would do that later.

Instead, Garrett strolled through the crowd and hallways. There were private rooms for couples who didn’t want to be watched, then rooms with windows for people who did want to be watched. A few stages for riggers to show off their skills and favorite knots, the red lighting off the entire place giving it an intimate feel. People could touch themselves, touch someone else- and the dark lighting would give them ample privacy even in a hallway filled with other people.

Garrett stopped at one window, glancing in at a couple he had hired himself. A couple who was doing exactly what he had told them to do. The girl was cuffed to the bed, the man behind her pounding at the perfect pace to make her go crazy. But Garrett saw something else- saw that he’d later need to tilt the bed by 15 degrees to give their watchers a better view of the girls face. That’s what they wanted to see after all, the unfiltered hunger in the girls pained and wanton expression.

Garrett cleared his throat as he moved away from window and further down the hallway, glancing in at the rooms he’d pass by. Before something caught his eye. It was the only unfinished room, just because there were no windows for people to watch in yet. Leaning against the doorway, Garrett looked into the room.

The Throneroom, as it was called. A fitting name, seeing as there was a metal throne in the center, with silk red velvet cushions for comfort. Garrett himself had come up with this idea, blame it on his love of Game Of Thrones- but it just felt fitting.

“It’s nice, isn’t it?” Garrett stated, eyes roaming over the person who was only a few feet in front of him, the person who had yet to notice his presence. Before he spoke up, of course. Garrett didn’t recognize them as someone from the earlier hallways, but it was hard to see them seeing as their back was facing them. But Garrett had a feeling even without seeing their face, he’d recognize them from anywhere if he had met them before. So it was safe to say he hadn’t. “Go sit, try it out for style, see how it feels.”

Garrett pushed himself off the doorframe, taking only three steps forward before he was behind the person, fingers trailing down their arm with a feather-light touch before landing on their waist. He may be an owner, but what type of owner would he be if he didn’t indulge in his own business? “Try it.” Garrett murmured, voice a low whisper against their ear, breath ghosting over the person’s skin.

God, they smelled amazing, not that Garrett was into sniffing strangers. But it was clear that whatever they used- was definitely working in their fucking favor, that’s for damn sure.
