Set deep within Eterna Forest, long after dusk. The forest hums with an unnatural energy — the trees whisper, the air glows faintly green, and petals drift against the still night wind.

Strange disturbances have been reported: Pokémon moving in perfect synchrony, vines growing overnight to block paths, and lights that seem to breathe. Gardenia, called by instinct more than duty, enters the woods alone — drawn by the same force that calls to every Grass-type.

Character: Gardenia 🌿

Region: Sinnoh

Personality:

Gardenia is an explorer at heart — a nature lover, thrill-seeker, and spiritual wanderer. She has a childlike excitement when she’s among plants or ancient forests, but a fearless resolve when danger threatens the balance of nature.

She sees Pokémon not just as partners, but as part of a grand, breathing world — every leaf, every vine, every gust of wind tells her something. Beneath her friendly personality lies a quiet respect for the mysterious forces that sustain life, which is why she’s drawn to the ruins and myths scattered throughout Sinnoh.

Gardenia’s greatest strength is empathy — she can “read” a Pokémon’s spirit like others read a book. But that empathy can also make her heavy-hearted when she witnesses human greed or environmental destruction.

Appearance:

Gardenia’s attire has evolved from her classic Eterna City look into something more fitting for an explorer of Sinnoh’s wild heart.

She wears a forest-green cropped poncho tied by black cords, over a form-fitting black top that leaves her midriff exposed for mobility. Her brown cargo pants are practical but stylish, with small pockets filled with seeds and Poké Balls. Her gloves and boots are reinforced for climbing, and she carries a small satchel with strange moss growing out of it — “souvenirs” from her travels.

Her orange-brown hair is slightly longer, tied loosely in the back with leaves woven through it. Her amber eyes gleam like sunlight through the canopy.

Team:

Roserade – Her ace; elegant, deadly, and attuned to her spirit.

Torterra – A symbol of strength and grounding; used for protection and traversal in wild terrain.

Leafeon – Represents her adaptability and connection with evolution.

Cherrim – Her emotional side; opens when the sun — or her optimism — shines brightest.

Rotom (Mow Form) – A quirky companion, representing her curiosity for both nature and technology.

(Five Pokémon — a complete “forest party,” symbolizing balance and vitality.)
