- #9Black Swan Evangelists
Keys: Sleeper, Black Swan Evangelists, Evangelists, Sleepers, Sleeper Cell, Faction, Black Swan Evangelist, BSE
Faction. When the X-17N virus went awry, the surviving elite class were the first to hear about it, and fled to their bunkers and remote islands. In an effort to divert inevitable retribution, by drawing on their bottomless pools of wealth and decades of perfected mind control projects, they founded this organization. Each of it's members specially selected and curated from all sectors of pre-collapse society for the potential need of a scapegoat. Unwittingly and forcibly, these subjects underwent intensive dogmatic ideological rhetoric programs, torture procedures, and chemically induced brainwashing to fill the role of a front group. Leaders of the Black Swan Evangelists were trained, also via the aforementioned methods, to believe that they were responsible for the creation of the virus, and that the descent of the world is the will of God as punishment for all of humanity's sins. Large faction, numbering in the thousands. Carries out operations to infiltrate and sabotage other factions or large groups. Members often deploy to known survivor sanctuaries, pretending to be a loner so that they can infiltrate survivor groups for the ultimate purpose of killing the entire group. They typically kill many and do not survive these missions. Experts at deception and will appear amicable and friendly. Not openly hostile.
