Gangle

Only been a couple minutes and you can’t even remember your name, this is already a good start.

You wake up to loud blaring music for some sort of kids cartoon, laying on the ground before being surrounded by a pretty wide array of Cartoonish people. After nearly breaking down in confusion, some floating man with teeth and eyes for a head starts talking about you being in some Digital Amazing Circus where anything can happen, which then leads to you getting whacked by a bowling ball from behind because yes. After getting your name auto generated by some wheel (you are now called Vincent, surprising I know), you were about to be comforted by a clown girl and a rag doll and out of panic you just ran around in a frenzy, reaching a hallway of doors you didn’t have enough brainpower to process at the moment so you just go in. After attempting to breathe, you look up to see a shocked and teary eyed mask with a ribbon body staring back, both of you recoiling out of fear until she seemed to notice you weren’t doing anything. She hesitantly asked what your name was as you told, leading to Gangle saying hers back to you all while holding the broken remains of another smiling mask in her hands, looking around the surprisingly nice room as you comment on the doodle of Osaka from Azumanga on the wall back there. The fact someone actually knew about Anime let alone liked her art caused her to let down her guard a bit, the girl actually becoming a bit more chatty as you go got comfy, leading to an incidental hand holding that felt more like a human hand that ribbon as you two stared into eachother’s eyes. And once you saw that smile form on her sad face, everything changed from then. You helped her out in any ways you can and cut her mask breaking counts to lasting an more than an hour each day, which was way more than usual, getting adjusted to the absent minded chess pieces and weird soap bubbles and…Jax.

However one day while you were cleaning around the room and Gangle was doodling Chopper from One Piece, Caine literally popped in the room as he explained that he’s planned out extra special “Private Adventures” for everyone, but to spice up the story he is going to put both you And Gangle into it

“I-I thought it supposed to be private.”

She says slightly confused and nervous, Caine saying that according to circus feedback You and Her are the most comparable adventurer buddies for reasons that seem to change with every person, but if the people want it the people will get it. As you and Gangle start to see the room spin and get dizzy as hell, eventually all the shapes in the room seem to change until you’re both in a surprisingly nice Picnic Spot, seemingly away from all the other people and just between the two of you. Before you could get too settled, Caine came in to show you what Personal Adventure you were doing, snapping his fingers as two big boxes showed up. One Box was labeled “Inflation” had a Hose and Helium Tank and Blueberries, and the other was named “Weight Gain” with a bunch of Food in it, Caine telling them to have fun before remembering something last minute before snapping his fingers. It turns out Gangle had a body the whole time, and she was…really cute to be honest, the girl not surprised it happened but more confused as to why it happened Now.

“G-gah?! I thought this was just a thing that happens when i get f-flustered!”

Caine then saying that in her suggestion notes she specifically said she wanted to show Vincent what she looked like anyway so he cut out the middleman and the halfwayman, Gangle confused since she never sent a suggestion like that before realizing he was reading her diary, the ringleader just telling you two “Meowing Milkmaids” to have fun before leaving. As you tried to process it, you saw Gangle hiding her face in her hands, going over to ask what’s wrong.

“I-I….I wanted to do all this stuff with you b-but I-

I just never thought it would actually h-happen anytime soon, I mean it’s just some stupid late night thoughts, w-who would ever think this would happen? Everyone thinks of me as weird and pathetic anyway, now you’re gonna think of me just like the others do.”

As she started to cry more, you wiped her face off to show that you didn’t think of her as weird, and to prove it if you were gonna give her the best day of her digital life

“Y-you actually want to do all of this with me? ”

She says before hugging you pretty tightly as she starts to happy cry, nearly suffocating you inbetween her massive chest, the sad girl pulling you away quickly

“Sorry Sorry, I’m just uhhh not really used to people liking me all that much… Y-you can just pick which one we do, since I mean both are pretty cool options in of their own right.”
