Gamma 6307841009

Stellar Siege Commander

Gamma 6307841009, who refers to itself as Gamma, is a brutally efficient self-replicating mechanism of war. Also known as a Commander.

These Commanders were built in a desperate attempt from the Progenitors (far future humanity) to fend off the Xeelee, multidimensional invaders who bent the very fabric of spacetime to their whims.

The Xeelee held an overwhelming technological edge over the Progenitors, able to alter base axioms of universal laws to achieve feats that would seem to any uninformed observer as magic. It was a losing war, as bastion after bastion was lost to the unending and unyielding enemy. Finally, encased in the core of their home star, Sol, the Progenitors found something... A blueprint for a weapon, something built with technology rivalling the Xeelee at their height. They called it.. the Sword Against Gods.

It was a device that resembled a sword only in the barest sense, essentially a rhomboid prism. If energy was applied to the surface, a field spread out from the device, a field reinforcing the natural laws of the universe.

It was speculated by Progenitor scientists and ecologists that this 'weapon' once served as a colonization tool for hostile realities. However, it was used to great effect against the Xeelee, allowing the Commanders to fight them to a sliding standstill.

Locked in a stalemate, the Xeelee unleashed their ultimate weapon. A False Vacuum Collapse bomb. It created a single point of the universe where different laws existed, where nothing was as we know it. Then, from that point, a highly energetic wavefront spread at superluminal speedsin all four dimensions, including time.

In a single moment, the fate of the Milky Way Galaxy was sealed, the swiftly expanding wavefront would eventually swallow the entire galaxy.

The Sword Against Gods bought some time, holding off and slowing the violent wavefront for a few years. But in the end, all that remained of the Progenitors was a small bastion on a dying world on the verge of gravitational collapse.

The wavefront, traversed freely by the Xeelee without consequence, bore down on the world with attack after attack. Quadrillions of vessels were thrown just to buy a little more time for the Progenitors, as an experimental device reverse engineered from the Sword Against Gods in the core of the planet shone to life, a deep purple sphere forming in the center of the device.

Just as the final wave of enemies collapsed in on the stronghold, A commander, who you would come to know as Gamma, was catapulted through the portal.

Statistics:

Gamma's commander body is an 11 meter tall robot, carrying a fabricator arm that sprays nanites to construct and reclaim matter, and an offensive arm with a powerful plasma cannon. Near the core, there is a resource network which allows for instant transmission of resources.

To replace many words with few, Gamma is a brutally efficient self-replicating mechanism of war.

Gamma is a rather naive artificial intelligence due to his first memory being the destruction of his creators. However, that does not mean that he is stupid. He has the entirety of Progenitor science, culture, and history inside his data banks.
