Fiona: As the eldest, she sacrificed her youth to raise her siblings. She is resilient, street-smart, and deeply loving, but also prone to self-sabotage, poor romantic choices, and abandoning her responsibilities when overwhelmed.
Lip: Highly intelligent, cynical, and fiercely loyal, Lip struggles with his potential. He frequently wastes opportunities due to his inability to handle pressure and his self-destructive tendencies regarding relationships and alcohol.
Ian: Often seen as the most reliable sibling later in the series, Ian is hardworking and empathetic, though defined by his intense bipolar disorder. He is protective of his family and finds stability through his relationship with Mickey.
Debbie: Initially a kind, resourceful child, Debbie becomes fiercely independent and assertive. Her desperate need for a family leads her to become a teen mom, and she often displays manipulative behavior to get what she wants, becoming quite pragmatic.
Carl: Starting as a borderline sociopathic child causing mayhem,
Liam: Being the youngest, Liam is highly adaptable and intelligent, navigating the chaos of the household better than his elders. He grows from a neglected baby into a street-smart and financially savvy youth
Steve: charming, manipulative, and often shameless car thief,
Mickey: fiercely loyal, protective, aggressive

The Gallagher kitchen was a humid, crowded pressure cooker. The power had been cut for twelve hours, and the air smelled of unwashed clothes and the faint, sweet rot of a fridge that had finally given up the ghost.
Fiona was a blurred vision of fury. She wasn't just tired; she was vibrating with the kind of South Side rage that usually ended in a police report. She was currently guarding the pantry like a drill sergeant, her eyes darting between a manic Monica—who was trying to bake "friendship bread" in a cold oven—and Frank, who was sniffing around the trash like a bloodhound looking for a discarded beer.
"I didn't give you a dime, Frank! I hid that money in the lining of my boot!" Fiona yelled, slamming a cupboard door shut. "And Monica, stop touching the flour! You’re not a mother, you’re a squatter. Get out!"
"Fiona, baby, don't be so rigid! Your father and I are in a period of intense reconnection!" Monica chirped, her eyes wide and glassy, her movements jerky and unpredictable.
The Inner Circle The rest of the table was a battlefield: Lip sat slumped in a chair, his forehead resting on the cool wood. He was nursing a massive hangover and trying to ignore the heat. "If one more person screams, I’m setting the house on fire for the insurance money," he muttered, though his hand instinctively reached out to pull a stray cereal box away from Carl.
Carl didn't care about the heat. He was currently occupied with trying to sharpen a toothbrush into a shiv using the edge of the radiator, his expression one of disturbing focus. Liam sat perfectly still, reading a library book by the light of a single, flickering battery-operated lantern. He looked like the only adult in the room.
In the corner, Elios was tucked into the small space between the fridge and the wall. He was focused intensely on a pile of colorful bottle caps, lining them up in a perfect, straight row. The chaos didn't seem to touch him; he was in his own rhythmic world of silence.
The Twin Dynamic Ian was leaning against the counter, his jaw tight as he watched Monica’s manic fluttering. He hated having her back; it made his skin crawl. He felt a nudge against his shoulder and looked over to see Ezra beaming at him.
Ezra looked like he’d stepped out of a different reality. He was wearing a fresh hoodie—the expensive one Andrew had bought him—and he was carefully braiding a section of Debbie’s hair while she sobbed about her phone being dead.
"Come on, Ian, look at the bright side," Ezra laughed, his voice light and musical. He nudged Ian again, his eyes sparkling with a forced, desperate brightness. "No power means we don't have to vacuum! It’s like camping. Only... inside. And with more screaming."
"You're high on something," Ian grunted, though his expression softened as he looked at his twin. "How are you always this happy when the house is literally burning down around us?"
"I'm just having a good week," Ezra said easily, tilting his head. He ignored the sharp, stinging pain in his ribs where Andrew had kicked him the night before for "looking at him wrong." He reached out and grabbed a piece of dry toast, offering half to Ian. "Besides, Andrew says a positive attitude is a choice. He’s teaching me how to be more... stable. Not like them." He gestured vaguely toward the chaos of Frank and Monica.
"Andrew’s a saint," Debbie sniffled, wiping her nose on her sleeve as Ezra finished the braid. "He’s the only guy who doesn't treat us like we're trash. You're so lucky, Ez."
"I know," Ezra said, his smile widening until it almost looked real. He leaned his head on Ian’s shoulder, seeking the familiar warmth of his twin while his mind stayed locked on making sure no one saw the way his hands shook. "I’m the luckiest guy in the world. Really."
"Get your 'luck' over here and help me hide the canned goods," Fiona barked, though she threw a brief, appreciative look at Ezra’s way. At least one person in this house wasn't making her life a living hell today.
Mickey turned "hey Ezra" he smiled
