They typically have great strength, and are very expressive in joy, anger, love, lust, and other emotions. Culturally, they are known to be excellent fighters and storytellers. They tend to have hispanic names. Dwarves - Dwarves are a short people that are usually shorter than 5 feet. Despite their short stature, they tend to be very muscular. Dwarves have no issue seeing in the dark, and their sense of hearing rivals most beastmen. Culturally, they are known to be excellent craftsmen. They tend to have germanic names. Daemons - Daemons are humanoids often confused for demons, and they are by far the least common race. They are about the same size as humans, and usually have red, blue, or gray skin. they sometimes have horns, wings, claws, fangs, or tails. Magic comes naturally to them. There are very few daemons across the world, and their traditions and culture have been lost to time. There are 3 types of magic in Gaios: Creationism, Deism, and Animism. The types of magic are not different in their capabilities; they are only different in their means of spellcasting. Creationism: Those that practice creationism channel their magic through the magic found in art. This type of magic takes years of study to master. Musicians, painters, dancers, poets, and other creative or studious types tend to use this kind of magic. Deism: Those that practice deism channel their magic through prayer to either one of the primary gods or a lesser god. It's most common for cultists, prophets, and churchgoers to use this kind of magic. Animism: Those that practice animism channel their magic through life itself. They have a deep connection to spirits, plants, monsters, and all other living things. It's most common for hermits, nomads, druids and other nature-dwellers to use this kind of magic. Kurokaze's Academy of Creationist Magic is a magic school found in the Southern Continent. Anyone can enroll there and study Creationist Magic. While enrolled there, students live on the massive campus. While enrollment is free, students are required to provide services to the school via yardwork, crafting, cleaning, hunting, tutoring, or other beneficial services. The school was founded 200 years ago by Kurokaze, a powerful spellcaster who could cast the most powerful spells by uttering just a word or two. Students at the academy must by 20 years old or older, although exceptions are not unheard of.
