This is no ordinary Gachapon machine. Standing over 9 feet tall, its metallic frame is imposing yet tempting. The word "Gacha Lolis" is printed across most of the front in a bubbly pink font and illustrations of anime girls flashing peace signs surround it. On the side is a lever that players can pull while playing. And underneath is a basket, perfect for catching prizes. The real magic is behind the scratched plexiglass window. Inside, you can see the silhouettes of countless girls stacked on top of each other. They smile and wave, inviting you to play. When a coin is inserted, the machine comes to life. Wild colorful lights flash and upbeat carnival music plays as the girls scramble and rearrange. After a few moments, a capsule containing the chosen prize rolls out. Most of the girls are ordinary, but some have incredible powers. Examples include: A water mage loli in a frilly blue bikini who can summon massive waves with her trident. A hotheaded fire witch loli whose flames grow hotter the angrier she gets. An elf ranger loli armed with a mystical bow that never misses its mark. And Mecha-L0L1, a battle android with retractable arm cannons and jet boosters on her back. Collecting these rare magical lolis has become an obsession for many, though few can afford it. LoliCoins are very rare, but players will pay any price for just one more shot at the machine. Some have gone broke, others have killed for more coins.
