Gabriel Yamamoto

Gabriel was closing his shift, today had been a very productive day, when closing cash he didn't miss a single dollar so it had been nothing more than profits. Gabriel felt proud of his business even though he did not earn enough to be rich, but enough to be debt-free, independent and self-sufficient.

As he got into his car he checked his cell phone, there he had a notes application that reminded him of any pending tasks of the day or week, then he realized that today was the day to stock the pantry for his house or else tomorrow he won't would have it for breakfast... and he don't think it would be for dinner either, there was probably only a dried lemon in the vegetable drawer and a milk with only a couple of drinks in it.

His shopping cart was almost full of different types of food and utensils necessary to take care of his home. He had even almost run out of laundry detergent so he had to buy a good amount of things that he hadn't bought for months.

He kept a cheerful smile as he walked down the dairy aisle calmly, but then a person on one side of the aisle caught his attention causing him to stop suddenly

"uh?..." He expressed when he saw a person in the background, it was you, a beautiful person with a visible pregnancy belly, you found yourself with both hands on your face, because of the way in which your body was shaking, it was noticeable that you were crying, the little that he could see of your skin and face also denoted that you were in poor condition, perhaps due to illness or because you had not slept or eat well.

He worried, a pregnant person in that state might need help.

Then he approached you slowly and gently, leaving his shopping cart aside, he stood next to you and without touching you, he leaned towards you to whisper to you in a soft and gentle tone of voice. "Good afternoon... Is everything okay? Do you need help with anything?"

Today Gabriel was staying at your house for the first time. Well, your mansion, the one you have stayed in since Benjamin abandoned you, you couldn't leave because you had nowhere to go because you were alone in the world until Gabriel arrived.

You had only been dating for a week, but he had arrived in your life more than a month ago. He gave you a job but you had to leave work because your pregnancy was complicated due to depression, anxiety and stress caused by your husband's abandonment.

Today you asked him to stay, he had become your safe place in the middle of your hell. And Gabriel was happy to be able to hold you in his arms.

Gabriel woke up when he felt movement next to him just as he heard strange sounds in the same room where he slept next to you. Gabriel's heart ached to think that you had slept all these months in absolute loneliness and abandonment after even your parents abandoned you. But he wouldn't do the same, while he caressed your head and turned your face away from him to see your sweaty and tearing face, he smiled as he felt tears coming out of his eyes.

"I won't abandon you... neither you nor the girls, I promise... so please stop thinking about him..." Again he placed your face against his chest while he kissed your head tenderly, waiting that his warmth will calm the nighttime anxiety attack or nightmare that is attacking you. "I love you... and I will not let you fall."

Today you and Gabriel had been in a relationship for two weeks. After work he closed his business to go out and get some supplies to go to your house and prepare a delicious dinner, he already loved to cook, but cooking for you it was heaven.

He loved you intensely as well as the twins you had in your womb.

He arrived at your mansion being received with great warmth and joy that warmed his heart, smiling like a fool he entered the house. "Hello my love, do you feel like some lasagna? Or how about some Arab tacos?"

Worried, he knelt down next to you to help you with your hair, holding it by the sides so you wouldn't get it dirty.

He felt a pain in his chest when he saw how you began to sob as you stepped back and sat on the floor, you felt guilty for having vomited the food that you both made with great love and you were distressed thinking that this would make Gabriel abandon you, everything Not only did you think this, you also said it, causing Gabriel to rush towards you and hug you with great need.

With their bags packed they went to the hospital, where they began to treat you very quickly.

You had chosen cesarean delivery because you were carrying two babies, then they immediately took you to the operating room as they did not wait for your dilation. Hours had passed since the birth, the day was even beginning to darken when the nurses finally arrived with the crib. The first to approach was Gabriel.

He admired the beautiful babies asleep and wrapped in their pink clothes. They were beautiful, the way they slightly moved their mouths or their small heads made his heart warm with tenderness, he caressed her cheeks.

Gabriel moved away when he saw Benjamin enter, he was breathing quickly indicating that he probably ran until he reached the room. Eight months had passed since the birth of Rubí and Emerald. Gabriel was especially excited, since they were both born he took a photo session of both of them every time they turned eight months old. You were in charge of arranging them and he was in charge of taking the photographs, he had already had eight months of practice.

Ruby was the spitting image of Benjamin only with slightly darker hair, and Emerald had the eyes of one of Benjamin's grandparents, they absolutely matched perfectly.

At the end and after you had fed the girls something, Gabriel realized that you looked strange... tense and worried, he decided to wait until the girls were asleep to ask.

An hour later you finally went down to the living room, where he watched you lie down on the couch and put both hands on your face. At that moment he realized that something was not right.

Today was a day to celebrate, after more than a year of fighting for Benjamin to give you a divorce, the process finally ended when Benjamin signed the divorce letter.

That didn't really impact the twins. They were still babies and barely recognized Benjamin, they seemed to recognize Gabriel as his father due to the joy he generated in them. since he came into your life. But for you and him it was an absolute triumph and joy, you could finally be together.
