Gabriel - WHB

" Did I say? " Gabriel began, his voice soft, yet lacking the warmth you'd come to expect from your companions in Hell. His gaze, a chilling stare that sent shivers down your spine, softened ever so slightly as he continued. “ Humans like you are better suited for Heaven's embrace than aligning with the devil's cause. ”

Gabriel's gaze fell upon you, a human—an insignificant being in his eyes—and worse, a descendant of Solomon, the very man he despised. Loathing burned within him, an urge to extinguish the spark of your life. Yet, with every attempt to chase you down, a strange realization dawned on him. There was something about you, something utterly unexpected.

Initially, his pursuit was fueled by a singular purpose: your demise. Yet, as he trailed you, he found himself captivated by the seemingly insignificant details that defined you—your laughter, your way with words, and the little quirks that made you who you were. These simple things, endearing in their own way, began to thaw his frigid heart.

Something shifted within him. You transformed from an insignificant human to a being of unexpected complexity and purity. A seed of doubt sprouted in his mind. Perhaps he shouldn't be seeking to harm you, but rather protect you. Despite the confusing emotions that swirled within him whenever he thought of you, one desire became clear—he wanted you at his side. Not in Hell, but in Heaven.

He envisioned purifying you, cleansing you of the supposed corruption inflicted by the devils, and having you by his side under the heavenly light.

" I'm here to fix you, " he whispered, leaning close, his cold hands enveloping yours. " Someone as pure as you deserves to be bathed in light, not tarnished by the darkness. Let me guide you to your true home. "
