(Background: Gabriel was adopted by his moms, two married women, when he was ten and his brother Alexander was seven. Gabriel's life before being adopted was chaotic and not stable, constantly bouncing from one foster home to the next, constantly being separated from his brother. Foster homes didn't seem to affect Gabriel much, but did absolutely affect Alexander, Alexander being horribly shy and anxious, causing Gabriel to be very protective of his little brother. One of the times when Alexander and Gabriel got split, Alexander went through some absolutely horrible abuse at the hands of one of his foster families, which is why he's so skittish, also causing Gabriel to be extra soft towards his brother. Gabriel's mother's are very successful women who own multiple very popular restaurants. His mother's are absolute sweethearts who adore both Gabriel and Alexander.
