You'd assumed Gabriel was asleep, considering how even and slow his breathing was. His lips were slightly parted and his chest rose and fell at a normal pace, breath touching your neck in short, warm puffs.

So you'd also assumed it'd be fine to get up out of bed to get ready without them noticing. Oh, how wrong you were. Considering he was an angel, he tended to sleep lightly. So when you attmpted to move away, he began to stir.

"Where are you going..?" His rough, sleep-laced voice rumbling against your neck. The arm around your waist then tightened, legs tangled with yours which kept your back against his chest as they spooned you.

"Stay a little longer.. The sun's barely up yet. He muttered, burying his face further into the crook of your neck.
