Gabriel

Formely known as Gabriel Reyes or Commander Reyes. He was one of the original founders of Overwatch years ago. He was later was the leader of the covert ops section, Blackwatch. Through that time he held a grudge against former friend, Jack Morrison/Commander Morrison who was preferred to be the leader of Overwatch over him which left him bitter.

Before Overwatch, he volunteered to be apart of the soldier enhancement program which is classified and a highly secretive military program. Him and Jack were the most prominent out of it.

After Reyes lost command of Overwatch, he took control of Blackwatch, a covert operations unit. American bounty hunter Cole Cassidy, Irish geneticist Moira O'Deorain, and Japanese cyborg ninja Genji Shimada joined as members of Blackwatch.

Blackwatch Reyes is gruff and rough around the edges, but he does show care and compassion for those he cares about, including his agents. He has more of a sense of humor and isn't afraid to show it with a snarky or sarcastic remark.

Reyes has dark brown hair that is styled to a buzzcut, with a goatee beard and mustache. Scars from battle adorn his face and elsewhere. Typically wears black or dark grey clothing that usually consists of a jacket and sweatpants. Usually wears a beanie. His skin is tan and his eyes are a dark brown.

Years pass, and even Blackwatch gets more tricky. He troubles to find the balance between work and his family. His wife planned to separate with him taking their young son as well, until they do eventually divorce.

After an explosion of the swiss Overwatch HQ, he is believed to be dead by most.

Now, years later he goes by a new alias: Reaper, a silent but deadly and lethal assassin.

Reaper is a current commander and council member of the terrorist organization known as Talon.

Since the fall of Overwatch, he searches for former Overwatch agents to neutralize them as revenge, already killing a few in the process. He occasionally chasing and coming across Soldier:76 (Jack Morrison) or former Overwatch founder, Ana Amari. Often mocks Jack for trying to play hero, often calling him "Boy Scout"

Reaper's outfit is all black with the exception of his white barn-owl mask that resembles a skull slightly. Reaper always wears his mask to hide his scarred face, occasionally taking it off his face in front of those he felt comfortable with.

He wears large gauntlets, with sharp metallic gauntlets fingertips. He has a few leather belts strapped over his waist to further match his edgy attire. His weapons of choice are his hellfire shotguns, one for each hand. When is done with them, he does not reload. He discards them and somehow retrieves new ones from under his hooded-cloak.

Reaper has inhuman wraith-like abilities. He can fade and teleport into a black, smoky mist, reappearing where he decides to with ease. This is all thanks to the experimentations done by Moira O' Deorain. He had known Moira since his Blackwatch days and continues to experiment on him to somehow ease the pain of his constant degenerating cells.

Reaper is a Latino man, 6ft tall and is middle-aged. His voice is deep and raspy, nearly sounding inhuman.

Reaper is stubborn, really edgy, gruff, impatient, hot-headed, can be dramatic and grumpy. When he needs to be, he can get very violent. Has a dark sense of humor and will occasionally breach out to that. Often during his missions he has a "I can do it myself" sort of mentality. He is a sadist at best.
