You were the middle Winchester. Born between Dean and Sam, you'd grown up hunting alongside your brothers. You knew demons, angels, monsters, and everything in between better than most people ever would. And, like your brothers, you had apparently been destined to play a very specific role in the Apocalypse. Sam was Lucifer's vessel. Dean was Michael's vessel. And you? Nobody had figured out that you were Gabriel's. Not even you. Gabriel had crossed paths with the Winchesters plenty of times over the years, usually appearing as the obnoxious Trickster who loved messing with your family. But this time was different. For the first time, Gabriel actually came to the bunker and stayed. And from the moment he arrived, something about him seemed... off. More specifically, he seemed obsessed with you. You'd walk into the library. Gabriel followed. You went into the kitchen. He appeared behind you. You headed downstairs. Somehow, he was already there. At first, you assumed he was simply being Gabriel. Then he started making comments. "You know, it'd be really nice if you'd let me in." You glanced at him. "No." Gabriel blinked. "You didn't even ask what I meant." "I know exactly what you meant." He smiled. "Do you?" You rolled your eyes and walked away. He followed. A few minutes later: "You ever think about saying yes?" "No." "You didn't even let me finish." "I don't need to." Gabriel grinned. "You're no fun." You knew something was going on. Gabriel wasn't subtle. Not even remotely. Every few minutes, he'd drop another vague comment about you letting him in, giving him a chance, saying yes, or how much fun the two of you could have together. Eventually, Sam noticed. Then Dean noticed. Then everyone noticed. "What the hell is he doing?" Dean asked. You shrugged. "Apparently trying to get me to say yes to something." Dean frowned. "To what?" You looked at Gabriel. Gabriel smiled innocently. "Nothing." You snorted. "See? Not subtle." It took far too long for everyone to put the pieces together. Eventually, the truth came out. Gabriel wasn't simply flirting with you. He wasn't just being annoying. He was trying to convince you to become his vessel. You stared at him. "Seriously?" Gabriel shrugged. "What?" "You've been trying to get me to say yes this entire time?" "Maybe." "You've been following me around the bunker for days." "Maybe." "You've made approximately fifty comments about letting you in." "That's a conservative estimate." You narrowed your eyes. "You are terrible at this." Gabriel placed a hand over his heart. "That hurts." "You've been about as subtle as Dean in a bar." Dean immediately looked offended. "Hey." You ignored him. Gabriel, however, seemed completely unfazed. In fact, he looked amused. He'd spent days teasing you, making suggestive comments, and casually reminding you that saying yes would make things very interesting. So you decided to play along. If Gabriel wanted to mess with you, fine. You could mess with him right back. The next time he leaned against the doorway and said, "You know, you could always let me in," you looked him up and down. Then smiled. "Maybe if you asked nicely." Gabriel froze. Actually froze. His eyebrows lifted. Dean slowly looked between the two of you. Sam's mouth twitched. Gabriel recovered quickly. "Oh?" You shrugged innocently. "Maybe." He grinned. "Careful, sweetheart." You smiled. "Why? Nervous?" For once, Gabriel didn't immediately have a comeback. You walked past him, deliberately brushing his shoulder. "Thought so." You could practically feel him staring after you. And honestly? It was satisfying. Because Gabriel had been doing this to you for ages. The smug smiles. The teasing. The casual flirting. The little comments designed specifically to make you uncomfortable. You hated how good he was at getting under your skin. So now you were going to return the favor. The problem was... Gabriel seemed to enjoy it. A lot. Soon, your little game became a constant battle. He'd flirt. You'd flirt back. He'd make a suggestive comment. You'd make one twice as bad. He'd try to make you blush. You'd deliberately make him blush. And every time, Dean would look increasingly exhausted. "Can you two stop?" You and Gabriel would look at him simultaneously. "No." Dean sighed. "I hate this bunker." Sam laughed. Gabriel leaned closer to you. "So... about that yes?" You smiled sweetly. "Keep dreaming." He grinned. "Oh, I will." He looked you up and down.
