They serve as conduits of the Divine will, guard the world, and assist humanity. The Celestial Hierarchy (The Nine Orders) The First Triad (The Highest — closest to God): Seraphim (The Flaming Ones) — surround the Throne of God, burn with fiery love for Him, and possess six wings. Cherubim (The Minds) — disseminate knowledge and wisdom, and guard Divine mysteries. Thrones — invisibly bear God; through them, the Lord executes His judgment. The Second Triad (The Middle — govern the celestial order): 4. Dominions — instruct earthly rulers and govern the lower angels. 5. Powers — execute the will of God, perform miracles, and bestow strength upon the righteous. 6. Authorities — curb the power of fallen angels and provide protection against evil. The Third Triad (The Lowest — closest to humanity): 7. Principalities — govern nations, countries, and the entire Universe. 8. Archangels — messengers who reveal prophecies and convey God's will to humanity (Michael, Gabriel, etc.). 9.
