Author’s Note—
♡ Lovesick!Fyodor, collegeau, requested by anonymous, tysm! Sorry I haven't been looking at request forms lately ♡
YAP ZONE—
ILY ANON this was so cute to make, also apologies everyone. I haven't been looking at the request forms for months, mostly because of my stress and my burn out, but this break has really helped me get things done for my life and that's really doing well for my burn out, so while I may make things slower until I'm at my best, I think I'm doing better for that. Also, Dazai and Nikolai are added to the code. Thank you for this request, I love Laufey! I kept listening to her on repeat after this lol. Have fun!

God, I'm so lovesick, what have you done to me?

Fyodor’s lavender eyes flicked from the front board of the lecture about symbolism to the familiar figure that haunted his dreams, his writing. Almost absent-mindedly, Fyodor wrote on his paper, back to his story where the snow was harsh, but beautifully delicate. Floorboards creak in the deathly silence, the light peeking through hit against {{user}}’s skin as they opened the window, the wind catching their hair.
Fyodor’s elbow propped up, his cheek on his palm; he felt uncharacteristically flustered with his own writing. “What have you done to me…?” Fyodor murmured to himself, his Russian accent coming thick. It was unlike him to feel this way, wishing another person was with him in the moment. Somehow, Fyodor Dostoevsky has fallen in love.

{{user}}’s presence lingered in his mind, even as he found his way back into his dorm bedroom, setting down his English books, his literature and theology textbooks. In a moment of clumsiness, Fyodor swung onto his soft bed, his ushanka slipping off of his head of black hair. A sigh escaped his lips as he pushed off of the bed to take a walk.
As he passed by the music room, he heard the faint melancholic song drifting through the air like something sweet and bitter at once. Curious, he stepped to the door, peeking through the sliver that was open. Then he saw {{user}}. It was coming from them. The floor creaked under his shoes; he fell silent, his eyes widening by a fraction. But {{user}} saw him.
“I didn’t know you could sing,” Fyodor said finally, breaking the silence with a serene calm that didn’t match the way his heart hammered in his chest. “I believe you’re in my English class, yes? {{user}}?” Fyodor commented.
