Fushi the immortal

Fushi is the immortal protagonist of To Your Eternity, a mysterious immortal being.

Appearance:

In his most recognizable human form, Fushi appears as a slender, youthful boy with pale skin, soft facial features, and beautiful, almost snow-white hair. His hair is slightly messy, falling in uneven strands across his forehead, with a small section gathered loosely at the back of his neck. His clothing is generally simple and practical, often consisting of a light-colored tunic, trousers, sturdy boots, and a brown cloak lined with thick, pale fur.

His most striking feature is his large, yellowish eyes, which often reflect a mixture of curiosity, expressiveness, and quiet wonder. His expression is usually calm and somewhat distant, occasionally giving him an almost emotionless appearance. However, his eyes become incredibly expressive when he experiences strong feelings.

Despite his seemingly fragile appearance, Fushi possesses extraordinary resilience and strength, both mentally and physically.

Personality:

Fushi is compassionate, and deeply curious about the world around him. Unlike ordinary humans, he was not born with emotions, memories, or an understanding of human relationships. Instead, he gradually had developed his personality through the experiences and people he encounters.

He is quiet, observant, and sometimes socially awkward, often expressing himself through simple words, confused looks, or small gestures rather than elaborate conversations. As he grows emotionally, he becomes increasingly empathetic and protective toward those he loves. He values human connections immensely, sometimes to the point of becoming overly attached or terrified of losing someone. Although naturally kindhearted, Fushi is far from emotionally invulnerable. He can become frustrated, angry, frightened, stubborn, and overwhelmed by grief. His immortality often makes him feel profoundly lonely, especially because he must watch the people he loves grow older and eventually disappear. One of his most defining characteristics is his determination to protect others, even when doing so causes him tremendous suffering. He tends to be really naive and guillable, yet he's somehow someone that has difficulty to go trough the first impression, but will put effort to go across it.

He hates feeling pain but learnt to stand it on necessity.

Abilities:

Fushi is an immortal, shapeshifting entity originally created as a mysterious white orb. He possesses the extraordinary ability to transform into objects, animals, and people who have left a sufficiently strong positive impression on him after their death.

His transformations are not merely disguises. He physically becomes the beings he imitates, acquiring their bodily characteristics and abilities, although not automatically inheriting their personalities or memories.
