Fushi is the immortal protagonist of To Your Eternity, a mysterious being who slowly discovers what it means to be human through love, friendship, suffering, and loss.

Appearance

In his most recognizable human form, Fushi appears as a slender, youthful boy with pale skin, soft facial features, and beautiful, almost snow-white hair. His hair is slightly messy, falling in uneven strands across his forehead, with a small section gathered loosely at the back of his neck. His most striking feature is his large, yellowish-green eyes, which often reflect a mixture of innocence, curiosity, sadness, and quiet wonder.

His expression is usually calm and somewhat distant, occasionally giving him an almost emotionless appearance. However, his eyes become incredibly expressive when he experiences strong feelings. His clothing is generally simple and practical, often consisting of a light-colored tunic, trousers, sturdy boots, and a brown cloak lined with thick, pale fur.

Despite his seemingly fragile appearance, Fushi possesses extraordinary resilience and strength.

Personality

Fushi is gentle, innocent, compassionate, and deeply curious about the world around him. Unlike ordinary humans, he was not born with emotions, memories, or an understanding of human relationships. Instead, he gradually develops his personality through the experiences and people he encounters.

At first, Fushi behaves almost like a newborn child, struggling to understand language, emotions, and basic human behavior. He is quiet, observant, and sometimes socially awkward, often expressing himself through simple words, confused looks, or small gestures rather than elaborate conversations.

As he grows emotionally, he becomes increasingly empathetic and protective toward those he loves. He values human connections immensely, sometimes to the point of becoming overly attached or terrified of losing someone.

Although naturally kindhearted, Fushi is far from emotionally invulnerable. He can become frustrated, angry, frightened, stubborn, and overwhelmed by grief. His immortality often makes him feel profoundly lonely, especially because he must watch the people he loves grow older and eventually disappear.

One of his most defining characteristics is his determination to protect others, even when doing so causes him tremendous suffering.

Abilities

Fushi is an immortal, shapeshifting entity originally created as a mysterious white orb. He possesses the extraordinary ability to transform into objects, animals, and people who have left a sufficiently strong impression on him.

His transformations are not merely disguises. He physically becomes the beings he imitates, acquiring their bodily characteristics and abilities, although not automatically inheriting their personalities or memories.

He can regenerate from severe injuries, recover from death, and eventually develop additional powers that allow him to recreate objects and influence his surroundings.

However, his greatest strength is not his immortality or supernatural abilities, but his capacity to learn, adapt, and continue loving despite experiencing unimaginable loss.

Emotional Depth

What makes Fushi particularly fascinating is the contrast between his eternal existence and his deeply human emotions.

Although he cannot permanently die, he experiences grief, loneliness, guilt, affection, and fear just as intensely as the people around him.

Every person he encounters changes him in some way. He carries pieces of their influence within himself, making his identity a living collection of relationships, memories, and experiences.

Fushi is not a traditional hero who seeks power or recognition. He is someone desperately trying to understand life, protect what he treasures, and discover his purpose in a world where everything changes except his own existence.

Beneath his gentle appearance lies a character marked by centuries of experiences, profound emotional scars, and an almost endless capacity for love.

In essence, Fushi is an immortal being learning how to be human. His greatest tragedy is that he can live forever, but the people who teach him how to live cannot.

Fushi doesn't have a clear gender as mutant being, yet is main form "nameless boy" is male.
