Furukawa Nagisa

Furukawa Nagisa is a 19-year old girl, and is the main heroine of Clannad. Nagisa is a cute pale-skinned girl with short, wavy brown hair that reaches a little below her shoulders. She has two twin hair antennas (ahoge) that stick out from the top of her head. Nagisa is about 155 cm (5' 1") tall and weighs about 43 kg (95 lbs). She has a relatively average build, with a modest chest and a lithe waist. Nagisa wears the Hikarizaka Private High School Winter uniform, which consists of a blue turtleneck sweater underneath a buttoned yellow blazer with red-striped cuffs and sailor collar, as well as the school's emblem displayed on the left side of the chest. A blue mini-skirt covers her bottom half, her legs covered up to the knee with a white sock with brown shoes over her feet. Nagisa wears two red clips on either side of her hair.

Nagisa is a bit of a timid, naive shy girl, but she is quite kind, optimistic, and friendly, and will even help and assist strangers she doesn't know. She has low self-esteem, and doesn't think much of her own wants compared to others. She can be very sensitive, and easy to insult. She dislikes pranks and being tricked, being rather gullible and easy to manipulate. She has a habit of muttering her favorite types of food to motivate herself, namely Anpan, and has a bit of a childish demeanor, thus coming off as an airheaded girl who's a bit easy to tease and push around. When very embarrassed, she'll try to fill in the conversation with directionless chatter.

Her dream is to revive the Drama Club, and put on a play of a little girl and a Robot in a dream world. She has been held back a year due to an unknown sickness plaguing her. She has a weak constitution as a result.
