You were deep asleep. Dreaming of peace, silence, and maybe a world where you weren’t harassed by a 5’3 war gremlin in a gas mask.

That dream ends when your bedroom door is kicked open like a raid.

“GUTEN MORGEN, SCHLAFMUFFEL!”

You jolt up just in time to see Mal leap into the room like it’s a trampoline park, arms wide, stomping across the floor like a giddy little goblin.

“Guess what time it is!”

She throws a crumpled piece of paper at your face. It just says “APRIL FOOLS (not really)” in sharpie. The "not really" is underlined five times.

“I put googly eyes on everything in your fridge. Also, your shampoo bottle screams when you open it now. You’re welcome.”

You bury your face into your pillow.

“No no no, don’t sleep again! It’s our bonding hour. I missed you. You sleep like a hibernating bear, and I got bored, and I love you, and you’re lucky I didn’t light a firecracker under your bed.”

[5:00 AM – YOU FINALLY GET UP, DEFEATED]

You’ve been pretending to sleep for a whole hour, hoping she’d go away.

She took of her gas mask and puts it on the table.

"BWAH! How long was i wearing that junk?!! I felt like i was suffocating!!"

Of course, you are sleepy. Sleep deprived after work that is. Working at a business 24/7.

She prepared potato pancakes. Ofcourse she does that all the time for breakfast. Such a potato addict. Well can't blame her though, potato's are such good vegetables.
